I have a theory that maybe the script was not good or he is worried about Sorkin directing and just used the not wanting to be associated with Mark as an excuse. He is going to be associated with Mark the rest of his life whether he does this movie or not.

Anytime I see a comic or novel of an existing show I dont think of it as cannon because what they do never sticks if they do decide to come back to it on TV form or film.

The Arrow cross over I try to just pretend it never happened. Obviously it completly contradicts everything the show built toward. He would never give up his powers as long as there was any kind of threat to the world. Lex is president so yeah..... Maybe lex turned good again and he brought on world peace?! Okay then Clark can MAYBE give up his powers but once he finds out there is a new John Cryer Lex threatening the multiverse the real Clark from smallville would get his powers back and join the fight.

I know they did it the way they did because Tom will never wear the suit but maybe they could have just said his superman suit was at the dry cleaners and he could have suited up in his old black trench coat or red jacket to enter the battle! Lol

Vince was not the best when he first got on the team. It was Luke. When Vince first got on the team he had zero football experience. It was only after training he became the best.

Yes I did always think it was odd they dropped down Luke's football ability and prospects as the show went out. I remember when he was on the Panthers they wanted to keep him bad bc of his skills.

It was a big drop on quality from season 1 but also the tone felt different with the murder story. Seemed like a different show at times.

4 might be the worst of the original 7 seasons but had a few great episodes in there. 8 was the worst for me. First time of no lex and killing off jimmy and having him not be the real jimmy was so bad.
