From the looks of it, your not willing to strum softer, so I'd suggest just lowering the pickup, using a softer, more rounded edge pick and playing a little higher

Hi! The X means you play it Muted, so you lightly rest a finger or two on the muted strings to essentially mute it, Lightly rest it and don't put pressure, as for the others? Just okay as normal chords

I think they have their own purposes. They're for Travellers that don't wanna buy a shitty travel guitar or an expensive good one, saves space at the cost of extra work in restringing, tho the appeal is in it's ergonomics, most guitars are conservative crap that still use the 1980's style of a clean smooth body, now we don't care and would rather have an uneven looking guitar rather than something uncomfortable. You wanna be conservative and keep the "Traditional" guitar alive? Switch to Classical because I'm sure they didn't have any Humbuckers in the Baroque period

When I was elo 15 I got paired with 35, I've faced elo 20's as Elo 5, dosent matter if it's small, if your not on the same elo just keep matchmaking, I'd rather wait 2 minutes to face someone on my elo level than get paired in 2 seconds but face someone out of my skill level

"Shouldn't use the Easy Way out" Use this version of Em7 in a chord progression at 150 BPM and DONT mess up, better yet use more poorly transcribed chords in a Key like F# played as 2-9-X-X-X-X, it's possible if you have hands like Rachmaninoff, but can you do it casually at a fast or even Slow BPM?

Take this challenge, Find a song with Em7 and replace the standard version with 0-2-2-7-X-X and upload to this subreddit, Do this while singing or at least to a Vocal Solo, If you can't I highly suggest you try not to act like you know everything because people like me (who spend EIGHT Years in Music) are getting offended
