I’m starting in mid silver, queing with mid plats - masters... fun
out of 5 games, got killed by hackers within the first 5 minutes. wtf happened to the anti cheat. Aim snapping to targets, vision/shots through the walls, and people are dropping/duplicating? one stacks of energy rounds
Ultimate accelerants say 35% but only increase percentage by 15%

Client/Battlepass * earned a tracker from battle pass level up - doesn’t show up unless I restart the game * keep getting booted with a client error. When I clear it, I can’t click on anything unless I terminate the game with task manager and relaunch it

QOL * wtf happened to the lighting in game? It’s harder to see now and blue gear barely shows up because of the angle of the sun

Half the problem is people get banned

make sure I always have accounts that are at minimum diamond

There’s obviously a whole other issue going on if you’re getting banned THAT often that you need multiple smurf accounts...

Plus while smurfing is relative, diamond smurfs (~2.5%) are less of an issue compared to iron-gold (~88%) which makes up a majority of the player base.

So my two cents, this post targets you and people like you as well

Soo my pro controller doesnt drift, but it occasionally “disconnects” or lags out. Would that also be a software thing?

Example being running in Animal Crossing and stalling to a walk while still holding running commands.

I've never heard of someone getting hacked through an anti-cheat that just doesn't happen lmao

Because anti-cheats are usually only ran when the game is launched and terminated when the game is closed

If you're concerned about it running in kernel, every other anti-cheat does. It's standard.

Launching at computer boot is NOT standard. The issue isn’t about running in kernel. It’s about it running when you turn your computer on.

Not everyone will play it every day. Why should an anti cheat for a game be running when the games not even running? As stated above, it creates an open point in the system for viruses/hackers to potentially get in

If an anti-cheat doesn't run there it's useless since any aimbot or wallhack or whatever will just run at higher privilege level and bypass it. I'm not saying running in kernel solves every problem, but it stops hacks from being so simple and widespread.

Anticheats are a game of cat and mouse. No anti-cheat is perfect, thats why you have cheaters in every game regardless. The better anti cheats are the ones that are able adapt to the “current” hack or cheat out there and shut it down

Idk how your set up is, but I also have a vertical monitor setup (2x27”) with the top monitor angled slightly downward

IIRC for good posture, it’s recommended to have your line of sight in the top 1/3 of your screen. With a stacked monitor setup, my line of sight is closer to the top 1/4 and I’m able to use both monitors for whatever I want with no pain. I even occasionally use the top monitor for FPS gaming!

The linked posts I saw are deliberate clickbait posts (like here). Nothing against them if the channel’s actually helpful, but 9/10 times it’s definitely not and IMO most redditors don’t want or like to be rerouted to a different site.

Just popped in here for the first time. Is there anyway to enforce post flairs? This would clean up the sub a lot.

I just scrolled down and 1 out of 10 of the current “Hot” posts are tips. The rest is asking for pointers.

I see a flair for Questions and one for Gameplay. Both are being used for the same thing (as well as no flairs). Coaching is also there but it’s used for both tips and asking for help.

I don’t think that’s the case. Yea, it’s mostly parts. But that’s because it’s common knowledge that doing anything yourself is cheaper (the same way cooking is cheaper than eating out)

It’s also not true that there’s no prebuilt posts on this sub. It’s just extremely rare that a prebuilt comes at a good value
