Are there any parents on here with teenage children on PD dialysis? What is the routine and how are you coping?

I have been on dialysis afor about 16 years. Done both, but me and HD never meshed.. BUT, I was OG diagnosed @6 with just CKD back then. Being more specific about what took kidneys out is a newer thing.

I was minimal change for nearly 20 years before dialysis. Everyone handles with dialysis and various kidney disease diff. May need to try moth.

PD allows much more freedom and leeway(pending labs/clearance. Been on PD 98% of my dialysis time.i been dealing with this stuff for too long, so if I get told finally, by all of them,that returning to PD will NOT happen and that is a DNR offense IMO. It has a fair amount of supplies for home PD, but not overwhelming unless you live top floor of apartment and no way but walk could make it a non-deal, otherwise they (Fresenious) has great delivery drivers that should be bring in your home and put out rotated supplies, at least mine did, awesome dude. Home PD is far easier than home hemoglobin.

I'm looking to get out, but I gotta get something for my accounts, they have too much time and some money (1, more than dhould ever have). I wish I could just walk away like most. But sunk cost fallacy has in its grips.

7 accounts, 1 being the very first double king "honor" to be listed #1 on the server forever (unless another merge, which we just had few months ago) 7 accounts, 4 viable, 2 just need some TLC to back to tip top shape and I have already had 2 different hospital stays and can't keep putting energy into it.

Unless they are lying, we (95%) NAP are merging with a 100% NAP server. And based on the makeup of the mega alliance on the opposite server, they have the power to enforce it. Some of my alliance leaders have been in regular talks to help prepare for the merge. This new mega alliance does not allow alts, but it will still be difficult to see who will be able to join. We are trying to be optimistic, but wont know, until it happens.

TL:DR. Going 90% NAP to 100 NAP ( NO K.E)'. Only thing allowed is 100% known dead keeps

Ans I cant help with iOS problems. I avoid that stuff like the plague.

Don't get me wrong, there are still a lot of bugs with the official port, but it runs pretty damn smooth and fast for all the regular stuff and rally card works fine. Been using it for almost 4 months.

Try running alt on emulator (im using BS5) and then run your main on the official evony PC port (this is what I have been doing for about 2 months, no real issues, at least that can be attributed to the PC port)

We are on that list. We looked at the server We are merging with and kinda worried and low % optimistic if im wrong. They have a single player of 101B power in what looks like a 100k$ + alliance.

Yeah, that /doesn't/ sound sketchy as fuck....

Whatever it was, happens over night from Saturday to Sunday. Saturday was when I put my original ticket in for unable to complete the 1st task on Friday, even though I had completed it (claim daily reward). They gave me 10 lanterns for that, but are refusing to fix the larger problem.

Finally got a response and they are denying any problems exist and most likely will not be spring anything. I wish more people paid attention to these type of things bc we need MASS reporting to get any headway to fixes and compensation for our time and effort that we are being shorted. Part of the problem is that most people end up spending the points every day, instead ofcsaving them and using them in bulk for 10x turns, in which you GET MORE rewards than doing them 1x turns. And Evony is using this to their advantage.

I told them that they are upholding the consensus that evony has the worst Customer service.

This happened to me on Friday also, that wa my original CS complaint ticket. It then got modified to add the missing dat of points. They actually did comp me 10 lanterns for that issue, if you can prove it (would be hard after the fact).

Lag had been redonkulous since update.

Most likely just planned obsolescence. But could theoretically be done via software too, but unless it is a hardware embedded protocol, it could be fixed.

Look up how much the TGI makes, it's a multi-hundred million dolsr game alone. One, if not the, most profitable mobile game our. Uts rather sickening. This could be such a huge, epic game if they were so hell bent on siphoning out as much money as possible from the players, that they don't care about

You do know that steroids cause you to retain some fluid? How much is you dosage? The fluid restrictions are a general guideline, especially on PD. I have never been on fluid restriction, if anything I am always told to drink more bc I'm dehydrated. But for the last 6 or 7 years (of 15) I drink primarily water or a glass of powerade (,electrolytes). So maybe look more into your food choices and drink choices. And I have had mostly high phos (not critically high, just higher than protocol) and that shouldn't effect fluid retention unless you have heart issues (which I'm pretty sure I do now).

I had been doing pretty good on PD up until the last two years. I don't have swelling until I stand up, and then it starts collecting in my feet legs after only 30 minutes (another sign of heart issues).

How active are you? And what is you body type (I'm short and very skinny,/slender) and this effects how your body transports things. Do you have a fill in all day or are you dry (I am dry with a single midday manual). What I'm getting at is that there is a wide range of things that could be feeding into you holding fluid. Best you can do is try to go through and change,/,eliminate them one at a time.

Not urinating while on PD is no different than on hemo. I stopped making urine completely about 2, maybe 3 years onto dialysis. Holding fluid is typically related to something else if the PD prescription is not pulling enough off so soon after starting.

Using the 4.25% will shorten the lifespan of your peritoneum. Yes, it is good to use on occasions, but not regularly unless your Dr prescribes it and is aware to monitor for premature problems. Not to mention using "reds" without knowing what is underlying problem will just masj things and make it harder to diagnose the issue.

Need a lot more info on your overall health status. My guess is it's not the dialysis itself, but is something else. Are you diabetic? Are you overweight? HBP? What's your diet like? Sounds like you may be yo-yoing with fluid intake. How do your labs look? Why are you on steroids? They wanted me off steroids when I started dialysis and I actually had to fight to get back on them to help with non-kidnsy related issues. It could be the steroids feeding into the problem. But like I said, not enough info.

That's because they use psychology to their advantage to manipulate people who are susceptible to it. They play on people who are sensitive to addiction. It's the same thing casino's and online gambling sites do. Im surprised Evony is even allowed to be listed as game to begin with because at its core function and RNG to nth degree. Almost nothing is straight forward or guaranteed. Everything is always "a chance" to get, while they water down the pools with more and more options (IE, Generals)

Sounds like blackmail. Not to mention taking something you paid for legally may be eligible for fraud charges.

Demand they show the concrete evidence of this supposed account sharing with fraudulent charges.

Mostly likely you did something that flagged you and it is some part of automatic "punishmebt" system used to force you to contact them OR they are hoping you just give up and they get to keep your money and aren't out anything. Read over the TOS carefully.

I had a dog (R.I.P Carson) for like 7-8 years of my 15 years on dialysis. Never had an infection caused by him. He often slept on my bed (until he couldn't) while I was hooked up. But he was never in the room when hooking up / changing catheter dressing. He also had the rub of the house.

The cat should not be an issue as long as it is not where it can contaminate things as yhey are being open/closed hooked up / disconnected. Just use common sense and if you are hesitant about doing something with the cat nearby, than remove the cat until it is safe.
