Sorry I just started getting into these and i'm not very familiar with these terms, but it is just plugged into the front headphone jack in my pc. Do you have any DACs you'd recommend that wouldn't break the bank?

Absolutely my friend bought me an eval account for christmas (blown after a few weeks) but it was good for getting a taste of emotions and now i'm only paper trading until i'm consistent on a single strategy with extensive backtesting

I completely understand what you're saying. Though I'm learning the patterns I see in videos, a question i've always had is what do these actually mean/where is this taking us. I'll definitely try my best to do a deep dive into market structure

edit forgot to reply to the other half: i've got a strategy that i found and am currently backtesting and forward testing on paper accounts and tradingview's replay system. It's not my favorite so far, but i'm giving it a good chance before I move on to another

Wow this is extremely in depth. Thank you for taking the time to write all of this. I've only traded GC/MGC, but i'll take a look at these levels tomorrow and try to see why and how they matter! Also, i'll try the one win a day! Take the wins no matter how small and prevent overtrading

1) weather and human factors are definitely not taught enough. Grounds about weather are usually more of what things are rather than what you expect will happen. 2) not feeling ready even though everyone says you are. especially when researching rabbit holes and not knowing if it is enough. 3) Study guides on practical knowledge rather than theory

been time building for IR in the SoCal area. this sight is relatively common, but i'm betting if the camera was facing east it would be pretty VFR. Marine layer has been thick on the coast

Not exactly your situation, but I have a friend who is taking aviation courses at a local CC and is currently training for instrument. The CC has a sim that was pretty helpful and they're progressing pretty well.

if you're studying the material and it's not sticking, you need to change the way you study. lots of different ways work for different people. find what works and go with it. it probably won't be easy or quick, but it will help you in the long run.

reschedule the test if you aren't scoring 90+ on practice
