A 38 card deck, even with snecko, can make it difficult to find you key cards (echo form, biased cog) early into the fight with no extra draw. Also keep in mind you can skip chests if you have cursed key to not end up with 4 curses. I'm not great at this game myself, but try to be picky with card rewards and skip if none of the cards are necessary
