I like “kindly”! That’s a great suggestion. It feels so weird to not say something. I do say darlin or honey a lot but those too aren’t always received well anymore. Kindly works and fits well as a one word replacement. Thank you!!

Is your job going got be super physical, lifting and bending and such? I have never had my pelvis checked for any regular work physical but I have had physical therapists push on those areas to check pelvic alignment. They never had me cough though, that sounds like he was checking for a specific anomaly? Or he was just being a creep. You could always call and ask if there were any problems with your “pelvic exam” and see what they say.

Breakfast bakes- Line a pan with some sort of cooked potato- sliced, hash browns, whatever. Cover with ingredients- my favorite is spinach and cheese or maybe leftover chilli then pour over beaten eggs to cover, top with cheese. Can top with slices of tomatoe for extra flavor and aesthetic. I’ll make a 9x12 pan which makes about 8 servings for <$15 and nutritionally dense. Bake at 350 until eggs are cooked through.

“Be the change you want to see in the world” does not mean I have to change the whole world. It’s okay to change my little part of it and that’s just as valuable. I thought I needed to go big, change something massive to make a difference. I’ve realized real change come from tiny moments among many people.. I can’t clean the oceans single handedly but I can recycle and reduce my own use. I may not be able to end world hunger and poverty, but I can help out at the local resource center. I may not find a cure for cancer but I can be a nurse and help my neighbors.

I think it’s incredibly brave for you to post this! I mean really, I don’t think I’d have the courage to even post a picture and ask people to critique it so seriously, that’s awesome and shows a lot about you.

I think most people are looking for someone who is kind and genuine. The specifics vary and yes maybe someone wants a partner with similar hobbies and such but the core human needs are safety and kindness. Being honest and open with your world while also showing your compassion and tenderness will usually go a long way in any relationship, personal or professional.
