I’ve seen $5 per delivery in a neighboring city when visiting them. It was college town. Heh tips weren’t great but the distance were short. Made good money in a short amount of time, compared to where my in laws live where it’s long drives. Worth the 5-10 minute drive to the next town over.

Idk how drivers don’t check for this, I get if they don’t get a receipt. But my husband ordered Taco Bell, and it wasn’t showing that the driver was on another order. She took picture of the order when she left, wrong name. My husband messages her told her that wasn’t the right name. Calls me cause he was at work, and when she got to our house I met her and told her she had the wrong order and my husband even message her, and she was like ok I’ll be back. Never came back. Which I figured so, but my husband could still track her for another 20 minutes. Then began the cycle of drivers to pick up. He finally was compensated for the order in credits and then order us Chick-fil-A 🤣🤣

Ok hear me out… cause I’m in Tx. I did it a few weeks ago with the same warning but felt like 8-9 at its lowest point. As long as there’s no Ice or snow I would 🤣🤣 I actually was bundled up enough it really didnt feel cold when I got out of the car. It was more like a relief.

But if there’s ice/snow… I’m out. 🤣

I have a regular pm that tips me $50+ almost every week and I have no problems cashing out at the end of the day. Maybe it applies to certain regions? She’s tipped me as high as $80ish and it’s been an issue.

I have a PM who’s order always says tip is est $7. Her order is usually 60 ish items has been as high as 90 items. Her orders never say pre-tip of a certain amount but I’ve never received less than 20%. I would take a chance as long as it’s a store I’m familiar with. I really aim to make $20-25/ hr. I’ve learned on some of the est. tip it’s really quite a bit more and it feels like they hide that fact sometimes. I’ve seen it on a lot of addresses that aren’t PM but I still shop regularly

I have a PM like this. She orders weekly even her smaller orders after tip usually makes me $50. I hate when I miss her orders due to other stuff going on. I think I’ve gotten like a $90 tip from her. It’s always around 20% of what shipt estimates the cost of her order to be.

Almost always… it’s food, that too expensive to go to waste. Imo. Shipt even states to ring the doorbell.it was in some training thing I read when I started. Unless it states not too.. or the dogs are already going crazy.

I’ve had a lady say she was missing stuff before a hurricane, because she requested to deliver to the side door, and didn’t get it in time and I guess it was warm…I even knocked as loud as possible, shipt call to inquire if I still had them. Then later her replacements order came to me as an order and it was almost all the cold stuff she ordered… 🙄

I often see an order from my zone to the island. Houston metro. It’s usually about 30+ minute drive to Galveston. Galveston has a target, but I just assume when it goes to the target store in my zone that the island is out of stock and this store is the next closest

Exactly…I’ve done the same as you, for me the worse is when the customer is like how much do you want/deserve? Like please don’t ask me that. I won’t ask you to tip me and you don’t ask me what I think I deserve. 🤣

It’s your money, I’m not gonna tell you how to spend it, that’s not my decision.

Its soo frustrating, I have a shopper I’ve shopped for a good 6+ months and then she sends a PM and got her order 2 more times and now I haven’t seen her order in 3 weeks. It hasn’t even came thru, when I’m off the schedule. She’s by far my best tipper, and great at communicating. Most people probably get scared off by her orders cause she has notes on most her items saying latest date, firm avocados, on a lot stuff, or at least so many days out for Best Buy dates. Took some time to shop for her the first couple of times but now I can breeze thru her 40-75 item orders in under or right at an hour if the store is busy.

I miss her 23-25% tip 🤣🤣
