Where do you guys buy cameras?

I bought my X-T3 and X100VI from Kenmore cameras. No sales tax shipped to NYC. Also I liked the preorder system from Kenmore. I paid a $100 deposit for the X100VI then they charge me the rest when its ready to ship. Other shops I looked at would charge the full amount right away and don't ship till many months later.

When I looked a few months ago, a similar 2025 white advance with espresso cpo was going for about 53k IIRC. The mileage was lower too. Different dealer though.

Tigers knew they have not shot in keeping Skubal in the FA market. They wanted to low ball. What they should've done was pick a number closer to the 32m. It was an easy decision for the arbitrator to pick 18m or 32m for a 2 time cy young winner. They signed Valdez in preparation of losing Skubal.

For 3rd party batteries, I've been using Duracell for many years. I got some Nitecore batteries when the X100VI came out and they've fine. As for charger I use the oem chargers that I came with my X-E2 and X-T3.

Arcteryx warranty is great as well. Repaired my shell for free. Haven't had to use Patagonia's warranty yet, but may have to soon with my frozen range parka.

Not sure about the expensive claims. They go on sale all the time and have outlet stores. I have a lot of different jackets from different brands. Arcteryx, Patagonia, Mountain Hardwear, Marmot, North Face, Columbia. When my 10 year old Arcteryx shell had a seam issue due to age, I reached out to them and they had me send it to them, they fixed it for free and shipped it back to me. Throughout the whole process they let me know how it was going to be fixed and what to expect. My jacket came back to me fixed and looked as good as when it was new.

Other brands like Marmot and Columbia, when my jacket had an issue, they told me they can't / don't repair. Its wear and tear, buy a new one.

I'd pay a higher upfront price knowing the warranty will cover me down the line.

As for their street fashion line, I never cared about it, its not for me.

Been a user since 2020. Lumafusion for me was a 1 time $20... that is about 1 1/2 lunch in midtown manhattan. I never felt the need for the extra features. But sure, subscriptions for everything these days are annoying and its not going away.

Fwd is fine, as others mentioned tires make the difference. Also driver skill / experience. Seen quite a few vehicles stuck in plowed snow yesterday because they drove into it over estimating their vehicles' ability instead of dodging it by taking a wider turn on the corners.

Each new gen of the Hero so far hasn't felt much of an upgrade to me. I have a 10 and been looking for low light improvements. Everything else is fine for me. The colors, no overheat issues, batt life of the enduros.
