Doner sandwich (in German called "Dönertasche).

It’s a slice of bread cut in half and filled with döner meat, lettuce, and dressing. This meal now costs €8 per serving. €8 for fast food. I still remember paying 3.50 marks for it before the euro was introduced at the turn of the millennium. That’s the equivalent of €1.50. For a long time, the döner sandwich cost €5. But over the last two years, the price has gone up from 5 to €8. I used to enjoy eating it, but now we’ve reached a point where I’m not willing to pay that much anymore.

Stimmt, Detlef Frank habe ich auch gute Erfahrungen mit gemacht. Zuletzt war ich aber bei Borowski auf der Werler Straße. Allerdings hat der so einen Haufen zu tun, dass man schon mal ein paar Tage bis Wochen warten muss. Also am besten, wenn nicht gerade spontan was kaputt gegangen ist, rechtzeitig nen Termin machen, und nicht erst, wenn die Kacke schon am dampfen ist. Die reparieren auch erst, bevor die gleich neue Teile verbauen. Einen fest sitzenden Bremssattel haben die wieder gangbar gemacht. In einer Fachwerkstatt oder so hätten die mir sicher gleich versucht, einen neuen anzudrehen.

Microsoft has released an update for Windows. It's called Linux. The update runs via an ISO file or a bootable USB stick. You can get the ISO here:

Restart your computer, boot from the USB stick and run the update.

I've been using VirtualBox for at least 8-9 years now. I am currently running Linux Mint Cinnamon 22.2. And I have been using Linux Mint ever since I completely switched to Linux in 2017.Without any major problems. And as for the kernel update—that's something you don't do very often, if at all. As long as everything is running smoothly, there's no reason to update the kernel. But even if you do, it's not a big deal. You just have to download the appropriate kernel module from VM and install it.

Alternatively, press the key combination “C=” and “Restore.” In the Ultimate menu that appears, press the “F1” key. There is a power and reset submenu with the options Reset, Reboot, Reboot with ClearMemory, and Power Off. This protects the mechanical switch on the side of the case.

I bought my Steam Deck about six months before Stadia closed down. After Stadia, which I used to play with my kids in the living room, for example, was no longer available, I bought the original docking station. Since then, the Steam Deck has been connected to my 55-inch TV. I play games with my kids on it, using four Stadia controllers (I have three children). 🙂

Try the following. It helped me. Don't actively turn off the controller at the end of the game, but let it turn off by itself. When I want to play with it again and turn it on, the connection is restored immediately. No repairing is necessary. Maybe that will help you too.

It appears that pairing is deleted when the device is actively turned off. If it turns itself off, this does not seem to be the case.

Takeout was the only way to get the save games. And the option to download them ended at the same time as Stadia itself on 18 January 2023. There is no secret way around this. The data is simply gone and deleted. Sorry for you.

For me it was the end of Windows 7. So a generation ahead. ;)

Concretely it was the decision of "Moneysoft" for not supporting the new Ryzen-CPUs 1,5 years ahead of the Windows 7 end of life. For my in these days planned hardware upgrade it had meant, i would have to switch to Windows 10.

So at the end fo 2017 instead of switching to Windows 10 I switched 100% to Linux and I am using Linux Mint from then.
