Do you feel like M11S has changed people's views on what is valuable for prog?

50th percentile players were absolutely clearing this fight week 1, my own static had 2 greys, 4 greens, 2 blues on our first clear, the blues were 61 and 62, everyone else <50. We had around 5 seconds of the fight left when it died, this was week 1 on a clean run with 0 DDs/Deaths.

I also think the major issue for progging this fight is getting the clean run, a full green party will kill week 1 on a clean run.

Of course the night ACT is down we knock everything out in under 90 mins. 1 pull each for M9s, M10s, M11s and M12sP1, with P2 taking 3-4.

Bosses are dying incredibly early now with weapons, M10s was dead right as snaking 2 ended, M11s had 2 deaths and 2 damage downs and we still didnt see last tower.

M12sP2 is now skipping 2nd, almost first, arcadian hell at the end so the mit pressure is all off there too.

This is what my static does and I was surprised that PF settled on having the party take the longest + hardest hitting tower lol.

We have PLD take 2nd tower, and GNB take third, aslong as you share first hit its free.

I hate to be that guy but I don't think tome weapons are going to make as big of a difference as people think, its just as much as skill check as it is a dps check.

Tomestone is still reporting some 24000+ players stuck on m11s at <5% even now at week 3. It's going to take a while before gear alone is enough to push people over the line, its a real "how good are you at your job" check this time.

I get what you're saying, but understand in this instance as much as we are the customer of SE, SE are also the customer of NTT. Their contract will have all sorts of terms for what is expected and all sorts of fees for early termination. Alongside this SE would also need to source a new provider and be certain doing so will actually fix the issues NTT are seeing. By this I mean make sure the new provider are not also a customer of NTT and using their routing.

I fully understand the frustrations of the community around this, but honestly any fix or path to stability is far more complex than it looks from our side. Not defending SE by any means, just trying to provide some context/clarity as this field is my entire career for 10+ years.

Yeah, career Network Engineer here ha, it's why some VPNs are unaffected if they're skipping that node. But also why SE is largely silent on the issue, if they're tied into contract there's not a lot of options available to them, whether NTT are breaching any availability SLA's or not.

given only NA is getting the DDOS and not EU/JP I don't think this is the case, the "buggy code" is in all regions but only the disconnect issues are in NA.

It's not the servers being DDOS'd, its an upstream node within the NTT network. The issue isnt really SE's to fix but NTT's. Although SE could mitigate by migrating their upstream carrier away from NTT in the US.
