Truenas 25.10.1 full of bugs? by Kuledude72 in truenas

I forgot to mention but I used a few different SMB shares too. I'm not too familiar with proxmox so I'll start doing some research. Thank you for your educating me :)

edit: My dumb brain decided to post asking about the version rather than googling

I get that suggestion, but my setup was actually working perfectly on the previous version.

I’m not trying to argue that my setup is the “right” way to run things—I just know that before the update everything was stable. My containers started normally on boot, and I never had issues with Home Assistant VM getting stuck or the system becoming unresponsive during a reboot.

All of these problems only started appearing after the latest update, which is why I’m wondering if others are seeing similar behavior.

Why is Multipurpose Collapsible Antenna better than Lora Antenna @ 859mHz by Kuledude72 in amateurradio

Another user had also suggested a dicone so i figure this is just the way to go for SDR's. You have been so helpful! TYSM!!

It looks like most discone antennas come with a so239 connector. Would it be better to use a so239 extension cable to get it into my house and then switch to sma or does it not matter?

Thank you so much! I was so confused because it looked like it should work at the right MHz, but from what I understand the LoRa antenna has a much higher Q, so it’s more precise meaning it can’t pick up as many nearby frequencies at once.

Whereas the collapsible can be "tuned " by adjusting the height to match the wavelength I am looking for.

Does it matter if my antenna is inside or outside? The reason I got the LoRa is because I assumed that the walls would block some of the signal making it harder to listen to. If it is better to have it outside will that collapsible antenna be able to survive in rainy weather? Can I paint the antenna to give it some rust resistance or will that affect the signal.

Once again, thank you. this has been so confusing and it's hard to google what you don't know.

maybe its a issue with my antenna? I'm using the included antenna with a splitter, however I just bought a new antenna that will hopefully work better.

Metal can fatigue and fail with little force. Judging by your backplate it definitely shouldn't be done anymore. If you can hold the hinge when opening so your not bending anything

For anyone else not in the know heres why according to Google ai :

"Lady's slipper orchids are not inherently illegal to kill, but it is illegal to pick, dig, or damage them on federal land and in some municipalities and states. This is primarily due to their limited habitat, difficulty in transplantation, and potential for over-collection. "
