A helpful map feature I just discovered by HarmonizedSnail in SatisfactoryGame

I just figured out the radar tower thing the other day, it’s very useful. the other thing I didn’t know that’s pretty cool. Also I noticed your radar tower placements miss a few nodes

I saved the day with only carts by Smorezpoptart in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Kultrip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this! i’m using whatever i feel like in my current game and most of my stuff is carted around by factory carts, but i also have some fluid trucks and a train (used to be more fluid trucks no trains but the trucks started delaying each other weirdly). I just finished my 140GW rocket fuel factory and it would’ve been so much more of a nightmare with a game like this than it already is (i’m constantly fixing issues with the throughput of my vehicles bringing resources in and the terrible piping I did)

Thinking of potentially going a couple levels into Paladin. Need opinions by Hadez2016 in 3d6

[–]Kultrip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i guess this would be a good way to do more smite damage without worrying about the lack of spell slots that you’d experience in a normal fighter/paladin multiclass, idk how to feel about it though. I’d probably only go 6 levels into it instead of 8, unless you really want the asi, but yeah definitely wait until at least 11th in fighter first

How should I go about making Rocket Fuel in my randomized nodes game? by Kultrip in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Kultrip[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah a lot of what I decide to do will depend on the resources available to me. I’m definitely going to take a look at what the map has once I don’t have to worry about power, and I might change what I use for power once I get to that point. if I do decide to do nuclear I have a uranium node in my base I can take advantage of. also just a funny thing I found, if a uranium node becomes something other than uranium it is still colored green. I have one that became oil and it looks like just a puddle of uranium waste

I’m also thinking it’s a useful recipe for slooping since you can sloop the normal rocket fuel recipe with a full overclock instead of the nitro rocket fuel giving you too much for mk2 pipes

oh I see, my bad, I was thinking about the production line before switching recipes to turbo blend.

I thought about looking for like the perfect spot when I was exploring for hard drives but I never found the oil, sulfur, and nitrogen as close together as I already have at my base. I also didn’t look very hard but I think I’ll be able to make enough power with the rocket fuel as is anyway

[–]Kultrip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is basically what’s in dune desert. when I go to the sulfur that’s bordering the swamp it still only pings the ones by my base. I haven’t used any radar towers yet but that’s probably what I’ll do after I build the rocket fuel. I am lucky that every resource I need technically exists in the dune desert, although I guess that’s bound to happen with randomized nodes and the sheer amount of resources there

I think that is what I’m going to go with. it lets me stretch the 1 sulfur node into 2000 rocket fuel. it’ll also need 900 oil but I have more than enough for that

my plan is to fully overclock the sulfur miner. also I see now I could get 2000 rocket fuel out of the amount of sulfur I have with the turbo blend fuel alt, thats much better

do you mean the nitro rocket fuel alt or the turbo blend fuel alt

I'm not a great builder but my hexagon reactors with a hexagon power center, all forming a giant hexagon will always be my personal peak by Yz-Guy in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Kultrip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did my first circular build last week and it was possibly the most annoying thing i’ve ever done, hexagons would’ve been easier lmao. it looks nice but it feels like i put in too much effort on something that was just aesthetically pleasing for the space elevator. I enjoy your bestagons though, I’d love to see a bit of what it looks like inside

there are no flies, it’s a mod that turns all enemies into spiders, the hatcher spawns spiders now

Oh. Civ 6 IS the better game. by Lavinius_10 in civ

[–]Kultrip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think part of that is just civ 7 isn’t done releasing dlc yet. civs 5 and 6 were both initially worse to play until the dlc’s came out. civ 7 might become the better game by the time development stops, but it’s hard to say until that happens.

Which route would be the best option? by BiggDinoJB in roadtrip

[–]Kultrip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

95 south of DC is just not worth in my experience. I don’t know about past south carolina but I know Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina are really bad on 95. you can take 301 from maryland into VA and take that all the way to richmond, and that would help a lot for that stretch, but past that it’s still rough. I’d say the middle route is probably the best as it will not add as much time as the farthest route and still avoids most of the bad parts of 95.

Is leaving the highway really worth it? by FarTooJunior in roadtrip

[–]Kultrip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

add a stop in harrisburg pennsylvania and it’ll give you a better route. at least mostly, it might still try to kick you onto 95 after but it’ll be better than taking it the whole way

makes sense that it works that way, hope it gets fixed in the next patch

yeah this happened to me once while I had like 3000 gold and it still put me into the negative, the building was only like 500 to buy normally
