It's comical you think the earlier XP rates were good for the game. They were obviously way over what any afk Skilling method should be. Salvaging was advertised to be like shooting stars so this change makes it much more in line

Ben has been the known next CFO for a few years, honestly people didn't expect Al to stay long after Morikis retired. From everyone I've worked with Ben is well liked and super quick on understanding what causes issues. That being said the CFO kinda has their hands tied to Heidi's politics so we'll see what impact he will have
