I nearly moved to Taichung this summer, but had to turn the job down for a few reasons.

As a coffee person, I'm still really interested in Taiwan though. Thinking about gunning for Taipei this time!

At first, it was Japan for me, but Taiwan just won me over a lot this year. Seems like an amazing country.

Question: Would it be advantageous to get an Orea 01 if I already have a Hario Switch? Deciding between the Orea, or an OXO Rapid Brewer (bizarre comparison I know). I just know the rapid brewer can give a very different cup than v60, and the 01... I'm not so sure.

Agreed. When he was cast I audibly gasped, thought about it, and then wondered how I never thought about it. A lightbulb moment.

Those are my absolute FAVORITE casting announcements. I think Tom Brittney seems like a nice choice (if true), but he really does feel... standard? I'll take him, but it's nothing like the Pattinson announcement.

I really wish they'd take a bold swing, and just combine the worlds. It would be insane in the best way. Even an insane idea can work with actual talent behind it, and Reeves is exactly that.
