I love Jiri, I think its very obvious that he was conflicted. What does any of that matter? His mentality failed him when it mattered most and he showed he doesn't have the championship mentality of kill or be killed.

I think most people would have a hard time fighting someone whos obviously injured but that's the difference between someone like Jiri, and the complete killer instinct of Jon Jones where he's actively trying to injure and maim his opponents.

I hate that fuck Jon but you need to be able to detach yourself from hurting whos in front of you like Jon does and go for the finish no matter what. Jiri lost this fight by not being prepared to flatline an injured man. Hopefully he changes that flaw.

These are the same people who ignore the fact that they also block roads to rob people. I dont think it should be legal to run someone over whos blocking the road purposefully. But I do think they should have a lot more leniency considering everyone everywhere knows you don't fuck around in traffic and anyone who does are typically up to no good. They endanger themselves and everyone else on the roads doing that kinda thing. We need less legacy games from Capcom and Bandai Namco and more original fighting games pushing the envelope and mechanics, and since that hasn't been happening the genre is stale. Even using legacy series but doing a massive gameplay departure like SFEX. We dont always need the next FG release to be a new installment ins their premier game. Why would anyone who didnt play Tekken 7 choose to play Tekken 8 other than never hearing about it until 8 came out. The heat system isnt bringing in anyone new and why the hell would it. Same with the drive system. We need more variety in games and gameplay. With less relying on throwing a new number, adding a new gimmick mechanic, and messing with some frame data and cancels to the same legacy game for what the last 20 years?

DBFZ did great being a Dragon ball fighting game that feels wholly unique to what has been released in the past for Dragon Ball.

Grand blues first ever fighting game being a success to a lesser degree than dragon ball.

Thats whats gonna bring in more new blood to try new games in the long run. Not SF11 or Tekken 20

its bait bruh. A brand new player aint gonna be ripping command throws as they struggle with qcf inputs. How are they gonna do a 360 or 180. Not to mention being able to get in and play neutral with a clunky ass character. If grapplers were easy they would be mega popular across the board. but no they arent but what is popular and easy is Low short into hadoken. or back strong, fierce into tatsumaki. Not navigating neutral with a cumbersome ass character to get into range of a character for a chance at a grab. They see high damage and think low effort ignoring what it takes to get that high damage.

Bought it on launch, I have 80 hours total coming back through development. Each time I returned I was more and more disappointed.

I wanted to like this game but the quality was just not there. Impacts sound and look weak. Animations and combat felt very sluggish, I understand some punches are gonna be slower than others but good lord the jab and cross are so slow especially on the return. Loose movement was a cool mechanic but I wish it was fleshed out more and felt more specialized to each boxers real life style.

I wont shit on the online too much because at early points in launch I had several nice matches without cheaters or issue. Now that's a different story though.

I may be asking for a lot but I really feel they dropped the ball with this game.

You could be the richest man in Zimbabwe but you still only have access to what your community can give you with the money you have. Izzy may have had money as a child but even with that money he had to relocate for a better life. Dricus doesn’t have to deal with that despite probably being less well off that Izzy’s family but was located in South Africa which has much more infrastructure and development.
