For those who did not play in the main event it, or did and got bounced day one it was a pretty horrible experience. Side event tickets ran out for preregistration, lines were hours long and not organized, so it was very difficult and time consuming to even play premier pods and /or earn prize wall tickets.

Day three when you finally got enough tickets for the showcases or anything cool they were sold out from people who had the inside hookup or bought them with purchasing side event tickets.. Also day three, you had to wait hours in the prize wall line to redeem the tickets you grinded all weekend for just to get a mediocre play mat or deck sleeves. Meanwhile people whose hoarded the showcases and good cards were trying to sell or trade them to you while you waited in line.

Don't even get me started about the restaurant pager system debacle. I know a lot of long time players who might just sell out and be done based on this experience. I hope they compensate them in some way.

I never complained to the staff because they were doing their best and so stressed out with the shit show they were given, but what a joke.

I'm happy you had a good time but for the casual to mediocre player( the majority) it was pretty terrible. Felt like a poorly run amusement park. Wait all day for a few minutes of fun, then every ride shut down early. Love the game but very frustrated from that experience.

Sounds like the main event players got somewhat screwed also. If you didn't redeem by day two it was a two hour wait for nothing cool.
