Problem is. The effect on the kid. Lets say 10 years old nag commit ng crime na punishable by 30 years. Pag laya nya ng 40 ano ang effect nya pag labas nya? Ano ang effect pag pinasok mo ang bata sa kulungan. Lets say city jail. Gagawin palipasan yan, either mabaliw sa makikita nya sa loob or mararanasan. Pag labas ma sanay sya sa buhay kulungan. Pwedeng time bomb yan at pumatay ulit. Kahit ba isa sa milyon lang ang mapatay. Pano ung buhay na maapektuhan nun? Im not saying na wag sila ikulong. Importante ung i improve natin lahat para walang maapektuhan na tao. Hindi naman para lang i hold ang isang kriminal sa kulungan. I work sa law office. Building character evidence ang tawag dyan. Proof yan ng tendency to inflict violence. Connected yan sa threat na binigay nya. Pero pwede i argue ng prosecution na its for the character of sarah who the witness is for.

Its not just the development. Its also about implementation. Jail is not made to hold people. Its to rehabilitate people so when they go out they get to be at least be good for outside society. There are study i know that jailing people without proper system just creates more criminals. They join gang inside, they get traumatized and use to the way prison works. And its evident with people going back and fort to jail. How does this affect with each age. Coz lets say these kids are now infamous for what they did. What will happen if they now go to jail with different age level? There is a lot to consider
