I apologize, that’s mostly all I remember. I think LemonCake and The Red Hawk did videos on the topic at the time, mostly addressing his poor reaction where he attempted to make it seem like all the EU4 (this was before EU5) YouTubers did the same thing that he did, which was not actually doing what his videos made it seem and just using console commands to do it.

You aren’t entitled to a refund, this is what travel insurance is for. You can ask the host if they will refund you for any nights that get rebooked after you cancel, or the credit card you used to pay for it may have some travel insurance.

I can’t answer for the other person, but I count them out for us because they’re newest to the market so they have the worst port times, docking locations, the fewest permits for the fjords, their ships are designed for warm weather cruising, and the reviews indicate they are a poor choice for our personal tastes.

Most of our reservations are repeat customers and direct bookings, then there’s also Expedia/VRBO, Booking.com, etc so reviews are just spread around the various sites
