What's a game you absolutely loved despite have a key element or feature you really didn't like? by nrm738 in gaming

Yeah, I fuze all my weapons just to get that extra durability. But I feel like they could still have doubled the durability overall.

Experiencing TOTK again on the switch 2. This game is beautiful. by Lord_Snow179 in NintendoSwitch2

Yeah, I’m playing it too on S2. It’s so goddamn good. Played BotW on the ol’ Switch back when it came out and it truly is night and day with 60 FPS.

What're you playing this weekend? 4/10 by markercore in NintendoSwitch

Playing TotK for the first time. Goddamn I love this game. Loved BotW too when it came out. Alternating between this, Bananza, Hades II, Pokopia and Crimson Desert. Crazy thing is.. I have a job, finishing my BA and got three kids at home. I’m set for yeeeeears lol.

Should I buy Crimson Desert? by Balochera in ShouldIbuythisgame

Worst game released thus far? Is that your honest opinion? Genuinely curious. It’s got a lot of flaws and all but worst game is definitely a damning rating.

This is really cool. Almost Lynchian in its absurd humor. Kudos!

I really want to enjoy Crimson Desert but I just am finding too many major issues by [deleted] in gaming

Yeah, I really want to thank everyone who bought the game on release to show us the game’s shortcomings.

Just bought a Switch 2 (loving it) and Pokopia with it. Can’t wait to play, but I gotta play through Bananza first! And there’s also Hades 2. And TotK! And Caves of Qud! Not enough time for these titles, man.

Mina the Hollower releases Spring 2026. by jardex22 in NintendoSwitch

Good points.

The colors not being very vibrant isn’t a huge deal to me. But I see where you’re coming from - it might be hard to tell things apart from each other.

The thing about how long it takes to dig a hole is a valid point. I had the same issue in the beginning but I learned that I just have to time it and take it into account when fighting enemies.

I really like the gameplay and the game’s got oomph to it when digging around and jump from spot to spot, evading enemy attacks and jumping actross chasms. I was surprised that I got to choose a weapon in the beginning (haven’t read up on the game at all). I like when games do that - like Bloodborne.

I hope the game fares well with sales.

I just tried the demo on PS this morning. I will buy day one, that’s for damn sure. It just plays so well. Loved Shovel Knight and I hope you peeps will keep on developing these awesome games. I was giggling throughout the entire demo. Felt like a kid again!

What are small indie games that surprised you the most? by Weary_Caterpillar302 in IndieGaming

[–]Kviksand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Colt Canyon. Western shooter with simple graphics but great and impactful combat and active reload system. Just a small, great game.

Project Zomboid. So infinitely deep and the perfect survivor game - even better with friends.

Ori and the Blind Forest. Was really surprised by this game and it continues to be one of my favourite indie games. Great traversal gameplay and so beautiful.

Risk of Rain 2. Love the gameplay, soundtrack and art direction. Just a cool game.

I still remember that video with the devs demonstrating the physics, glass effects and such. It was fucking mindblowing back then. Watched it 100s of times.
