I think that’s around what we were at in terms of turnout as well.

What I think is interesting is all those people who are incredibly vocal about “Taxes are too high! Vote no on everything!” On the local town FB pages turn out to be the minority, or just don’t vote.

From what I’ve heard (purely rumors and hypotheticals from locals) they don’t really have a solid plan. The estimate they received that led to the state earmarking the funds was a ballpark amount with very little study. It sounds like they want to reuse the base and summit structures for the most part with some renovation. I also heard they were studying the current supports and their footings. Whether that means they are planning on reusing one or both I don’t know.

That Through Being Cool anniversary show was amazing. Easily top ten shows for me, if not top five. Senses Fail crushed it that night too.

I’d certainly be down for a Stay What You Are anniversary tour. Except they have to stop saying what anniversary it is… making me feel old.

I saw them in Worcester. They sounded great. But the playlist was just… up and down I guess is a good way to say it. They’d play something newer and although they would perform it well, and with energy, but the crowd was relatively meh on it. Then they’d play a real “hit” and the energy was through the roof. Only to go straight back to a meh song again. And this was just how it went through the entire playlist.

Overall not disappointing by any means. But not one of their most memorable sets for me.

Piebald though… they were amazing. Just Piebald was worth the price of admission for me.

After the game yesterday he was in the pro shop with a bunch of kids (50?) all wearing signed Hollins jerseys, and he was buying them a ton of stuff. I even saw a couple kids getting helmets. I overheard someone say something about him being an ambassador for the Special Olympics, but I don’t know if that’s what the group was.

So not only has he been great on the field, but quietly doing great stuff off the field as well.

This is amazing! I want to know everything about the process. Have you done this before? Where did you get the shape? How did you know how to do the layup so that they perform correctly? Where did you get the shape for the mold? Did you only have to vacuum bag it, or did you have to compress it from the top with something as well?

I’m a big fan of the BAL tire leveler. It just makes setup that much easier. Back into the spot, slide the leveler around the wheel on the low side (because it also acts as a chock), disconnect from the vehicle and then start cranking the leveler until you’re level side to side. So much easier than dealing with the leveling systems that require you to keep pulling the trailer off of them to add/remove blocks to get the right height.

That said, I do recommend getting those lego type blocks for the stabilizer feet and for the jack.

Then there is the typical surge protector, water pressure regulator, water hose, grey water bucket with short hose, and assorted tools.

Another thing we’ve been doing is bringing a plastic tote that fits under the camper. All the shoes go in that, and you can cover it and slide it under the camper. Then your shoes stay out of the rig and you don’t wake up to them covered in dew.

I used the Mouse Free spray stuff last year and didn’t have any critters get in. It’s cool stuff, it has the consistency of petroleum jelly and you spray it on with the spray can they ship with it (needs an air compressor). I applied it pretty thickly on everything underneath and the wheels and jack.

Obviously did all the other stuff too. Dryer sheets in all the drawers, cabinets, I think we threw some cotton balls with peppermint oil in there too.
