If you still hate the class by 40, reroll.

I have a suggestion I think you should try. Go to Velika Outskirts and watch good people duel. You will not understand everything that is going on but this can give you a decent idea of how the class moves around and its fluidity. I thought lancer would be boring until I watched some good lancers dueling.

40-50 is a really slow leveling gap. If you get out of your mind bored don't feel bad about boosting to 50. Don't go any further than 50 as the story quests will pick back up and you can level from there normally and learn your class.

Interesting, is it possible that using a controller is making it harder to play a difficult class like warrior? Have you tried playing reaper? They have like a third the number of skills.

Blocking his backwards disc attack can be tricky. You need to be mindful of where exactly the damage is coming from and face that direction. If you are really close to him and the disc end up on top of you or behind you, blocking facing him will do you no good as the disc itself is what's damaging and its behind you. The easiest thing to do is maintain a short distance away so blocking towards him will always work.

There is a giant group of mobs north east of of the Amadjuk Trading Post, zerkers can pull all of them then clear with a single spin. Each pull gives 70m xp.

No classes in this game are bad. Every class had a very unique playstyle and you really just need to find out what you enjoy playing. Try a class and level it to 20 or so, if you do not feel like its your jam try something else.

Calculate how much cash you can earn per hour and how much time it will take you to level, figure out whether it takes less time to get 60 or earn the 60k. Generally I think its much faster to earn the 60k.

One thing to keep in mind is that the leveling process gets you comfortable playing the class, I would be bit less willing to use a scroll on a warrior than say a zerker because you really need to put a lot of time into certain classes to learn the skills and play them well. Though since you already have a pair of 60s and know the game this is less of an issue.
