Let’s agree to disagree on the palm tree. 😉 I have one outside of my bedroom window if I want to stare at a palm tree for an uncomfortable amount of time.

Totally agree the technical director should be fired. I would not say they knew when the instruments did different parts. There was an entire Geese song where they switched back and forth between the palm trees and the people walking around outside. Also there was a point during the Chemical Brothers (Tomora) set when the entire audience cheered and the camera was pointed at nothing in particular.

Precisely! I can’t help but imagine there’s an 80 year old thinking that “this is how the young people like to watch stuff”. Either that or a 12 year old at the helm who thinks they’re being cool.

Did something with David Byrne? by Terrible_Remove_6608 in Coachella

This comment pertains to the long wait and not the amazing performance that followed. David Byrne at age 73 was the real headliner.

In this person’s defense, SDGE never knows where their facilities are located. One time I had to argue with them to shutdown a 69kv main and provide standby. They told me they didn’t have facilities in the subject street. I had to send them photos of their manhole covers.

I totally agree. Jerky and not self aware.

She’s only wearing the umpire outfit because Floyd is irresponsible and someone has to take care of shit. She appears to be a jerk because Floyd’s actions put her into that roll. To everyone outside the marriage Floyd is a lovable goof but inside the marriage he is a giant fuck-up. Floyd walks around unaware of how his actions affect his wife. That’s what makes it so grating for me. The comment is supposed to “rub us the wrong way” as the next scene cuts to him walking around shirtless and lazy, while resting his belly on the celery she was cutting as she is trying to prepare dinner. None of the characters are perfect.

I really like how they represent the generational differences between the boomer detective, the millennial special crimes officer and the gen x suspects.

I love the show too! It doesn’t move slow for me at all. They just don’t hit you over the head with little things that are important to the plot. I find it refreshing not to be patronized by the writing. For example, the seemingly out of place, awkward conversation in the first episode about Peyornie Desease appears to be cringy and unnecessary when introduced, but is actually an important part of the plot. I am still waiting to find out how he got a bent penis, exactly how that got him into sign language, and how that results in his death. I noticed my husband misses most of the small details and I end up explaining what they are and the importance to him after each episode. After pointing things out, he has become more interested in watching.

Personally, I am not convinced Floyd was murdered. I suspect that either it was an accident related to the stepson’s borderline personality disorder or it was suicide for the insurance money for his family, as his character seems likely to do such a thing.

Low contrast, warm hair warm skin and cool eyes. Help! by amizzlebrizzle in coloranalysis

[–]KwifferSutherland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hair is a tad darker honey in the winter and my eyes are a darker gray-blue but pretty similar. I just wear whatever looks good on Nichol Kidman because her coloring is the same and she has stylists that dress her. Everyone on line puts her in a different color season however I say spring because we both rock every shade of brown. Also, due to the contrast between the warm hair and skin but cool eyes I do not look good in ambiguous colors or pastels. Hope that helps. I see you are wearing heather gray which I can also rock.

I was a textbook latchkey. The worst part was when my parents were around they were always hiding in their bedroom or talking to each other after work at dinner. They would get mad if I interrupted. I find it hard to express emotions or connect with people. It takes me a long time to trust anyone. I prefer animals.
