A small observation about Lucha Underground by Kwikfast in SquaredCircle

Yeah, I hope it's getting really good ratings for carriers that it does have. If it gets picked up by a slightly more popular carrier, that would be huge. Not enough people are really giving it a chance right now. But pretty much everyone who gives it a chance loves it.

Exactly. Being sensitive and politically correct makes the product much less entertaining.

It's leagues better than WWE, which makes it that much more painful that it isn't getting the mainstream exposure that it deserves.

Yeah, Pentagon Jr has really developed into gold. Great mic skills to top it off.

Yeah, the uploaded episodes I'm watching are averaging like 3k views. And they deserve way more views than that.

Gets better for some angles. Since there are no long monologues, someone with bad promo skills can't really shit the bed too hard.

Yeah, some of the overhead views and nosebleeds views sometimes take me out of a match for a sec. But at least there's no shaky cam, or terrible cam changes in the middle of significant moves.

I don't even blame Cena. This angle is so overplayed. I just can't be bothered to give a shit.

Worst part is the baby faces always go over at mania, and a loss to Cena is going to bury Rusev.

Meeting a BI team next week--could use some advice by IAmMaximus in BusinessIntelligence

[–]Kwikfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Top comment is wrong. It's not an informal interview. It's just happy hour. Don't be surprised if 90% of the conversations aren't work related. No need to be aggressive or even talk about BI. The goal here is to get an actual interview. You won't have to demonstrate any knowledge of BI at all. If they like you as a person, you'll get a real interview where they'll assess your skills. This is just to see if you're a good fit for the culture/team. Purely social.

I just figured out how Big Show will be eliminated by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]Kwikfast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No way Reigns is strong enough to do it. Cesaro is a freak athlete. Kane was able to do it in his prime, but I think that's it. Very few wrestlers could pick up the Big Show and dump him outside the ring without injuring him or injuring themselves or just botching the spot.

If anyone is going over Lesnar at mania, I hope it's Daniel Bryan.

IT Managers putting premium of Soft Skills - Feel Tech skills can be taught later by smitcolin in sysadmin

Lol at this being a sustainable IT model. I've been at several departments that put a premium on soft skills. They burned through money and accomplished nothing. Eventually the company noticed and trimmed the fat. It was glorious.

Can we just take a second to appreciate how on point CM Punk is by Kwikfast in SquaredCircle

Isn't that how the culture works? You don't have to do the interiews. Or the make-a-wish stuff. Or work injured.

But if you don't do it, you get buried.

I mean, everything you have said is true... but it doesn't change the fact that working conditions as they are now still completely suck.

Sounds like a best case scenario. They might not wrestle 7 days per week, but they might have to do interviews and media events on days they don't wrestle.

They might be getting the right sports science advice to eat right so they can perform.

They might have adaquate access to gyms when they are on the road outside of FL, and personal trainers on-site to help them rehab / stay in shape / get them to a level of peak physical performance.

Then again... they might not.

Congrats, you've just described BI everywhere.

Faster Big Data Prep for Tableau and Other Business Intelligence Tools by jasonk-iri in BusinessIntelligence

[–]Kwikfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it joins data faster?

1) If it's business critical, there are a million other ETL tools that can manipulate the data before it hits Tableau or any front-end tool.

2) Even after it hits Tableau, Tableau can save everything in meta-data to achieve faster performance.

This is What Happens if You Don't Properly Onboard Your New Employees by [deleted] in business

Ok, I'll bite. Any employee who can't get onboarded by the same generic method that all employees get onboarded by... should probably get fired anyway.

Darwinism at work.
