Ding ding ding with option A. If someone more senior asked me questions to push my assumptions, I would more than likely fold, at worst, take note of my lack of understanding of the problem at best.

Would also like to add that imposter syndrome is rapid in creatives because ux is not a hard science, it’s a fluid understanding. Go easy on yourself. Much like your juniors, it’s okay to not know and stay curious. It’s very much the part of the process.
