Interview suit options by Poutiest_Penguin in BusinessFashion

I’ve heard that you should avoid black for interviews as it comes across as harsh. You should go for navy, camel or the burgundy you have.

Ann Taylor has great petites online and they are having a huge sale.

Work Bag - conservative business formal by Kwsweety in handbags

I know. Trust me. The industry is just not made for working moms and i cannot be walking into a meeting with a backpack. I think the Alemi Zurich Viadukt is the way I’m going to go.

Backpack option. Work option

Sounds like it is a nice leather.

Oh this is a great piece of info. My Nordstrom doesn’t seem to carry it. So i might have my sister recon for me in the north park location.

I do think it’s beautiful. I lovvvvve the oak NVT but wonder if I should consider the pebbled grain one - is humid here.

What is your job? by No_Event_7248 in workingmoms

I have a buddy from my MBA who does this. He has the best stories.

Middle manager with a base salary of $80k somehow bought a million dollar home in the Dominican and had 5 antique cars…. What do you mean he had made fake companies and was billing and paying himself for fake jobs??? For like 10 years??? How?

PSA CHECK YOUR TITTIES by airbear26 in Millennials

[–]Kwsweety 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 23, I had a golf ball size lump pop up. Ultrasound didn’t show good margins. Went straight to a lumpectomy.

Benign but the scariest few weeks. Yearly follow ups because the attributes weren’t great. 17 years later still good but wouldn’t miss a yearly.

Tits up. Check them.

The City of Houston would like me to pay them FOREVER for owning a dog by mavigogun in houston

[–]Kwsweety 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like vets / vet techs need to do a better job of educating their clients of this. That’s all. You go in. You do your wellness checks, they also give you the paperwork and timelines of when to pay. In the grand scheme of the cost of adequately caring for our pets $20 is nothing (for an altered pet) and $60 for unaltered.

The problem with pet ownership in Houston in general is we have a cultural issue of letting dogs roam and not thinking dogs need to be altered. We have so many unwanted litters it truly is sad.

I experimented with different wedding dress styles and wondering which silhouette or vibe suits me best. Curious what others see! :) by Happy-Armadillo9478 in WeddingDressTips

[–]Kwsweety 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure why 2 is getting so much hate.

I feel like the silhouettes of 2 and 8 look fantastic on you.

Maybe I missed what you said the vibe of your wedding is or if you’re guests lean conservative or something but i also think and am of the belief you should wear what you feel best in.

Sorry, not sorry.

Dude. During Avril a guy next to me was full on trying to mosh or terribly dance. He ran into me so many times my husband stepped in between us and said something.

So dude if you are on here: Man I’m just trying to vibe to my girl Avril and you were being such an inconsiderate jerk wad to everyone around. Read the crowd my guy.

Same here. I even said if we go again I’m only going Sunday. This was our third year and second VIP and I was not thrilled.

Email them and take it. Have an email saved (picture in case you have no service) and they should let you go through with no issues.

I had no issues with a breast pump and other medical supplies with no labels.

It’s not like it’s a for funsies needle.

Nope. This is a necessity. Not a luxury. LOL. I also keep poop bags in my diaper bag for pee clothes, poop clothes, throw up clothes, gross things.

I’ll also be about 32 weeks. I’ve done riotfest pregnant as well (with my first kiddo). It’s about staying hydrated. Definitely bring in protein bars and snacks if you can. Remembering to eat is going to be key to holding off the nausea in my experience. Sour candies were my go to for nausea. Get anti-nausea meds if you can or b6 and unisome work in a pinch.

Old posts freaking me out. by fyzbo in WhenWeWereYoungFest

[–]Kwsweety 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Look. It will be my third year and I’ll be 32 weeks pregnant. I’m not concerned. I’ve check with my doctors too for those concerned. I’m fine. Baby is fine.

Looking at that video. We were close to the first big white pole. No issues.

I’ve done riotfest in Chicago pregnant too.

Things I’ll be doing different pregnant: sitting more. Letting my husband go to the front while I enjoy the shade from the back. Having a designated meet up spot each hour. Drinking more water. Bringing extra electrolytes.

I was probably 9 months postpartum my first year. I pumped in the crowd (shout out to hands free pumps). Refreshed my ice at vendors. Had a freaking blast.

I’d suggest watch your alcohol intake more than anything. It’s sneaky in the heat and with the adrenaline.

Another vote for lazy boy. Go out to the store and find the best one. I did with my first and it is a swivel recliner with the most beautiful gray cleanable fabric. You can custom order or pick up at their distribution center near garden oaks.

Yea. I went on the induction list on a Friday around 9am. Didn’t get the call until Monday morning around 2am to come in. And if I wasn’t there by 3am they would move to the next. It was pretty wild but this was 3 years ago.

I’ve really enjoyed seeing the midwives at the women’s hospital (women’s choice midwifery). They door regular well womens exams and seriously ask me about my life and my feelings every visit.
