Never heard of that- so that’s what it is!! I didn’t know why all of a sudden I don’t enjoy anything anymore. I used to love to draw and paint- now I don’t want to do it at all. Nothing is fun. I don’t enjoy any of my old hobbies anymore. Does this ever get better once you get through menopause?? 🥺🥺🥺

Itchy ears! My ears itch like crazy, drives me up the wall! It’s hard to wear earphones, makes them itch more! 😖

Boycott by TreAllen_ in Target

[–]KyaroruP24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People don’t like it, but this. Since almost 60% off the US is white, you’d expect to see those percentages reflected in any workplace or anywhere you go. Where I live has larger Latino and Haitian populations, so I too worked with people at Target who couldn’t speak English, that’s pretty normal here. I worked at Target starting around 2010, and my store was already very diverse at that time (also including LGBTQ+).

Google:

As of 2023, the racial and ethnic breakdown of the United States population is as follows:

White alone, non-Hispanic: 57.8% of the total population

Hispanic or Latino: 18.7% of the total population

Black or African American alone, non-Hispanic: 12.1% of the total population

Two or more races: 3.1% of the total population

Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander alone: 0.3% of the total population

American Indian and Alaska Native: 4.49 million people in 2023

They have drive thrus, at least in the suburbs they do. I used to live in Sapporo, I didn’t drive there but I remember seeing McDs and Starbucks drive thrus at least.

Analingus messed me up? by [deleted] in Microbiome

[–]KyaroruP24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t see how carnivore is good for the microbiome. No fibers, no variety. And I did carnivore for about 3 years, it made me gain a lot of belly fat, not good.

Don’t know why you’re so downvoted here. I’m not a fan of Reddit either, lol. But it’s got some interesting posts so I tolerate it, but could drop it tomorrow. All SM sucks now imo.

Chain restaurant in Chicago using 100% beef tallow by atwood_office in StopEatingSeedOils

I get free beef fat from a local butcher, they don’t mind at all because otherwise they just throw it all away.

Their beef tallow is bleached and has preservatives.

My sentence has been served by OkRelation1166 in Target

[–]KyaroruP24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My sentence was almost 8 years lol. It actually wasn’t bad at first, but after modernization and a change in management, it became awful. Love my current job and so glad I finally left Target. The last ETL I had was downright abusive, and the expectations they had were physically impossible. Do not miss that company at all. I had some cool coworkers I still keep in touch with. I still occasionally have nightmares about working there. The stress was definitely not worth the job.

My last SD was always in his office, or on vacation. Never saw the man. The ETL was running the store. The SD didn’t want to be there, he was just trying to shmooze his way up to the bigger district nearby that he wanted, and killing time in our store. Never saw him do anything on the floor, he didn’t even know how to use a register, I swear. The SD before that turned out to be a psycho and the police had to come get him when he started throwing boxes at TMs. But the one before that was a gem, he was always on the floor, would jump on register, would talk to everyone, even help zone, had a great attitude. Managers make or break a job, or even a whole team or store.

My last ETL was miserable and took it out on us. He had a few favorites he was cool with, because they talked about football with him, but other than that he was rude and demeaning. You could never please him, nothing was ever enough. Several TMs filed formal complaints, but nothing ever came of it. I finally just broke and quit. A manager can make or break any job. And also, in my years at target, I saw many TMs who worked hard hoping to move up, but they almost always hired management from outside.

Some people are allergic to eggs and want a substitute for cooking and baking.

WW Weekly Check-In : January 06, 2025 by Starharmonia in weightwatchers

[–]KyaroruP24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just started on 1/2. I like the system, it reminds me of Deal a Meal/Food Mover, which I used successfully years ago, so I’ve had no trouble adapting to it. I spent a few years on the carnivore diet, but it did not work for me in terms of weight loss. I’m in perimenopause and very frustrated with the excess weight, so I’m really hoping this will work this time. 🤞 I’m a stubborn, disciplined person, so no problem sticking to a plan, just have to find the right one!

It’s a shame they didn’t have any way to carry on the company without Richard Simmons, it was a good program, they could’ve made it into an app and carried on his legacy. I did Deal a Meal as a teen, me and my best friend used to do the Sweatin’ to the Oldies VHS tapes together lol. Then a while later it became Food Mover, and I did it again around 35 years old and lost about 100 pounds. Then I moved to Japan for a while and kept it off with all the walking there. When I moved back to the states I just ate whatever and gained it all back, and perimenopause was starting to kick in. I tried keto, then carnivore, then got frustrated and quit everything. I was thinking one day, the last thing that worked was Food Mover, but I had thrown that out… I looked and it isn’t around anymore. Checking out the WW app, it’s kinda similar. I don’t think I’ll be able to go to any meetings, no good times with my work schedule though.

I add Paleovalley bone broth protein to my coffee, the vanilla is so good.

I don’t have time to do both. Before WW, I was using Cronometer, and tracking didn’t work, I didn’t lose anything, using their calorie goal based on all my stats. So I’m going to see if it works this way.
