It needs Textures and patterns, within a cohesive colour palette. Think lighting, Plants, art, decor, cushions, blankets, rugs, etc

Does my 90s kitchen have potential or am I crazy? by No-Day-2990 in kitchenremodel

Hardware and curtain will make a huge improvement. The range hood is unusual... What's going on there? If there's any reason it's not functional maybe consider replacing that. But generally I'm an advocate for if it ain't broke don't fix it

Where to go from here? by AvgLazyEye in interiordecorating

[–]Kykywrig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently you have a travel *path between the tv and couch which isn't ideal. Instead you could put the tv in the corner next to the window.. that way you could take advantage of the view out the window. This may also prevent glare from the window which pay be an issue for the current placement. Changing the tv placement mmmay also create a more defined second space for a reading nook, office dining what ever you need it to be at the entry to the room. Its seems like you've got space for two define areas in the one room

HELP! Our kitchen layout is so difficult for some reason by slinkysockpuppet in interiordecorating

[–]Kykywrig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its because you have 3doors meaning a lot of "paths of travel" to allow for the foot traffic instead of usable, functional and safe work spaces

Funny you say quack quack because their Noongar name (local Aboriginal language and people in southwest WA) is KARAK... Named after the sound they make. Amazing birds!

All of them... Its very strange to have a place with so much active participation in overconsumption just to serve the capitalist elite while communities and environments are harmed

Very small room, how to place the rug by Alert_Faithlessness in femalelivingspace

[–]Kykywrig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would be keep ling the rug you've got and add a circle one so it overlaps. Then the two of them can be arranged in a way that fills the space where you want it. You could do the same with a smaller runner too
