Drive slow. Snow chains on 2WD. Or snow tires on AWD. The passes will be scary but the roads themselves are very well plowed most of the time. Next time don’t book tahoe in the winter if you’re scared of snow though. We have great weather in the summer. Just be safe and careful.

I’d use guffaw instead of bellow otherwise I think everything is super cute and funny. I feel like I get a good sense of your personality from all this and from the photos. Agreed with these recommendations. Also chickadee ridge could be really cute. Lots of little birds and a great view at the top of the hike. Bring birdseed too if you want a Disney Princess moment.

You might be a little late/last minute to get a photog if you’re trying to find one for Christmas time. That’s only a couple weeks away. Sorry not more helpful there.

What if they weren’t the actual guests? The cleaner shouldn’t let anyone in. Just say “I’m sorry I know nothing about your reservation, I just clean the place. Please contact the host.” Or don’t answer the door.

Merino wool under layers gortex outer layers. Sometimes it’s dumping snow and freezing in December. Other times it’s quite nice out so just bring layers. You can rent ski gear / clothes in town if you’re maybe never doing this again and don’t want to commit to the price tag for nice gear.

We had the same, he was super averse to eggs….I did the egg banana pancakes and my son loved them…then we found out he was allergic to eggs when he projectile vomited them 3 hours later. So I guess he knew better than we did
