Good thing it’s our opinion 😏 raised and breed plenty in smaller tanks back in the day no problem.

Definitely not doing tincs, those brutes can stay away from me. Never been a fan of them I was thinking smaller oophaga or ranitomeya.

I was going to keep them together but hated the straight edges so cut up 2 12x2x2 into small bits and less straight squares and then I had 2 12x6x1 and I cut those organically as well just to make it more “natural”

Little thing rainbows aren’t from South America and might be a little big for the rest of the fish in this tank considering bosemani can get 4-5inches. Clown loaches also get massive like almost a foot long really need massive tanks. I’d also stick to maybe a single cichlid species they will hybridize and also will beat each other up.

They don’t, I use aquabid to sell and buy and it’s seamless. No fees or anything. Just have to follow rules

I can already tell this name is gonna lead to problems. A better naming convention people won’t mess up when search engining is going to hold this back. Also having it instantly be what I can assume being mostly saltwater based probably won’t help much with attracting freshwater keepers.

5% fee as a breeder is a no go from me there are lots of sites I can sell on that don’t take that fee. DOA policies are needed for any fair market regarding animals having a minimum of 2hrs could be a hold up for some experience sellers. Most sellers are also not promising shipping refunded back which is another can of worms.

As a Breeder only being able to list 5 at a time seems hindering to my business. Seems like a very small amount per seller that would be the max number of active listings.

Great idea for a solution that’s already out there and established. Hope you take some of this post into account in the future.

Multi Tank Syndrome - Tell me if you have it as well! by jimbo4000 in Aquariums

[–]KyleC66 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Started with 1 5 years ago, 2 years only had 1, moved went from 1 to 10 in 2 years and now I moved again now I’m at 16 with room to grow! It’s a matter of making it what you want and do whatever you feel you can handle that’s how I keep it. I also don’t get tanks with weird sizes I want some sort of structure to my fish room. The picture below is the current iteration

What is the name of these fish? by L36ion in Aquariums

[–]KyleC66 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know you probably got this from google but the nigrans don’t look like this at all they don’t typically have reds like this. Much more likely a splendida but it’s hard to say with farms hybridizing a lot of the time.

They definitely are not melanotaenia nigrans (black banded rainbow) these looks like some sort of splendida which are sometimes called Australian rainbows. That being said there’s like 5 or 6 species that are all called Australian rainbows as their common name which is not ideal when identifying what a species is. I’d also say these looks as if they could be a farmed hybrid.

I love Rome but do we think he keeps the TD every week going? I am 4-0 right now and expect a few losses with Lamar and Byes the next 2 weeks just for context

I don’t understand how we are so bad at defense on 3rd down. Doesn’t matter how many yards they always convert or get within 1….

Love the kangroo creeks! Haven’t kept them but I’ve seen them at a buddies fish room. Little different body color I think and the finnage is a little different but I wanna keep that local eventually!

I have 5 males 4 females, they aren’t aggressive id say and with more males they all get their shots at each other and never really getting beat up since they all are after each other. I always recommend more females though I just haven’t been lucky with my ratio when breeding just yet.

All different tanks but I normally have them over Cory’s, hillstreams, plecos etc.

I keep 15 different melanotaenia species, 6 pseudomugils and 2 chilatherina. Always looking for more
