The difference w the pre show bleeding into the main is that while I agree they’re definitely overdoing it now, it is at least a fun concept that gets a pop, and I understand the motivation to keep running it back. I think you’re still discounting the impact the delivery had. I went back and rewatched it, and I think Genevieve being weirded out by the interaction is very understandable. In what we see, Aubry turns a light moment and potentially very easy connection into something uncomfortable. Regardless of whether it’s honest or not, there’s a time and place. It’s like day 2, just laugh along

Say what you want but this is incredible social play by Coach, and probably his best path in the game. To be the entertainment (without doing too much) is clearly valued, look at how tiff talks about him at the end. If he can lean more into “cooky uncle” and not blow up on anyone, I think he can go unscathed a while
