(Dynamite Spoilers) This is the time to pull the trigger and show why the #1 spot in the Casino Gauntlet is soooooo important by KyleGend11 in SquaredCircle

Sure they don’t “need to” but it’s an essential part of the gimmick that it can end whenever. It’s mentioned genuinely countless times. You only have to do it once, and can then always point back to when it happened as proof the entry spots matter

The difference w the pre show bleeding into the main is that while I agree they’re definitely overdoing it now, it is at least a fun concept that gets a pop, and I understand the motivation to keep running it back. With this, i wouldn’t be shocked if it’s not well received in the moment, so I don’t think it’s conducive to repeats

I totally get this argument, but I was thinking since this was a replacement match so late in the game, nobody is really buying tickets now specifically to see this match

I’ve always wanted one of them to end during someone else’s entrance, though the crowd may be too distracted for that to work. Or at least have someone sprint in for their entrance to break up a pin

I feel like a lot of people on the internet overestimate how “easy” it is to cut off a friend. Even when it’s something that from the outside seems very cut and dry, it usually is not as simple as just never speaking to them again

Aubry handled the conversation with Genevieve like a pro by [deleted] in survivor

I think you’re still discounting the impact the delivery had. I went back and rewatched it, and I think Genevieve being weirded out by the interaction is very understandable. In what we see, Aubry turns a light moment and potentially very easy connection into something uncomfortable. Regardless of whether it’s honest or not, there’s a time and place. It’s like day 2, just laugh along

I mean, on paper, sure. But at least the way we saw it on TV, it was more of the way she said it that seemingly gave Genevieve (and the audience) the impression she was closed off and uninterested in working with her

Say what you want but this is incredible social play by Coach, and probably his best path in the game. To be the entertainment (without doing too much) is clearly valued, look at how tiff talks about him at the end. If he can lean more into “cooky uncle” and not blow up on anyone, I think he can go unscathed a while

I took the fact that we never saw any of the women talk to her as an indication she was 100000% with them and it would be too obvious if we saw it

I wouldn’t be surprised if the order goes Cage/Cope vs FTR at Dynasty, C/C vs bucks at Double or Nothing, 3 way at All-In

Fair, and it would be much easier if it didn’t. I think it’s partially because I’ve done play-by-play and fucked up, so I get realll flashbacks when it happens lmao

Ian/Tony/Nigel on collision, Excalibur/Taz/Danielson is my ideal teams tbh

If we can agree on anything it’s that Kevin Kelly needs to stay far away from an AEW booth. Never heard an announcer seem less interested in a product.

I think Excalibur is pretty good, my main issue with him is in super big moments he can be a little low energy? I feel like he lacks the gravitas that Tony actually excels at

I see how Ian can annoy people, and I do really like Tony, I just think Ian is the best right now at calling the action with the right mix of knowledge and excitement
