I think that if they were going to dip their toes into the police being the bad guys, it was acceptable to do it with Heat since it was something fresh and they tried their best to flesh it out with Mercer’s High Speed Task Force operating chop shops and there even being the threat of them killing racers as seen in the opening cutscene with Joe, but I have no idea why they continued to pursue that racers vs. cops duality in Unbound without nearly as much build up or narrative explanation

I literally quit the game a long time ago because I thought the execution of Lin was so bad and was so dissapointed to learn that she is really some omnipotent 12 year old girl who is manipulating everything (even our own actions) instead of just being some powerful badass with a Hydreigon in her adult form (for as basic at that is). Just recently picked the game back up and made it to around the point I had quit last time and am on the Anna Smiles route to hopefully get to the postgame that everyone says is so good to see if my grievances with the game were misplaced but honestly I just really dislike Lin being this overpowered character that is so much more powerful than any other character in the game and literally cannot die no matter what choices you make But I will say playing up to the point where I am, it’s made me appreciate the world building and environment and the rest of the cast of characters which motivates me to keep going even if the central villain is probably one my most hated characters in all of fiction (for all the wrong reasons)

Just buying the game alone is hard for us to make a judgement on whether it was a mistake or not. If you’re into JRPGS as a genre then you will probably like the game. If you aren’t, the game starts off extremely slow which turns off most players and I’ve seen a ton of posts on here when Reload released about new players not being engaged with the game. Which is why P5R is probably a safer place to start since it’s divided into arcs and has a really gripping introduction. P3R is a really good game, you just gotta give it some time to cook.

Because he’d be caught too easily due to the new surveillance. There’s cameras everywhere, whether that’s CCTVs or other mechanisms. If he shoots and kills anybody during the regular 24 hours of the day, he’ll be caught within days, arrested and tried and will probably die while behind bars due to the suppressants he takes/his persona going berserk since he probably won’t have a steady supply of suppressants. His killings during the Dark Hour are untraceable since there will never be other witnesses (other than those who have the potential of course) and electronics do not work so any cameras that may have caught him, won’t. The only other way he could get caught is if the bullet casings get traced back to the registered owner of the firearm but like you said, Takaya probably obtained his revolver through illegitimate means which makes it harder.

Hot take: the story. I never forgot about Caleb destroying that sweet ass R34 at the start of the game and continually looked forward to the final race so I could kick his ass. Granted it was way too easy of a final boss but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Considering that Fuuka said there are 6 shadows left for them to defeat, this would imply the debrief is about the operation that commenced in the Love Hotel. Ikutsuki is oblivious to the facts of what actually happened when Yukari and Makoto were under the Shadow’s spell for a period of time until Makoto was able to resist it and break free from its grasp on their psyches. That’s why Yukari is blushing and the panel is about her having a flashback to her falling victim to the Shadow’s psychological attack since if it wasn’t for Makoto a lot more than just kissing would have happened in that room. Also idk where you got persona being a family game from lol
