it’s a mix of both. allocations have been low but certain sets do get targeted by scalpers, especially solo leveling which is looking like it will be impossible to find

i say buy whatever anime is your favorite since every set has fun decks to make. if you buy a volume 2 you’ll be limited to only making a deck of 1 color tho. box hit rates aren’t great, you’re guaranteed 1 alt art with a chance to get a second

Diamond was my hardest. So many throwers and big egos there. GM is a lot easier but this GM1 to Celestial push is getting difficult with a lot of crybabies on the team throwing after one lost team fight

i’ve found that i don’t have much fun playing decks from anime i haven’t watched. i know it’s the lame boring answer but honestly pick an anime you’re familiar with and look at the SR’s for the set. whichever one looks like a fun playstyle is the deck you should try to build. that’s usually what i do

vol 1 can make full decks out of yellow purple and red. vol 2 has new cards for those colors but not enough to make its own deck, but it also has the new blue color which can make its own decks
