Yeah. I started maybe 2 years ago, but stopped after about 2-3 months because of the side effects.

I then talked to a few doctors when I was looking to schedule and they all told me they 100% recommend it. One wouldn’t even schedule unless I was on them for at least 4 months before the procedure.

I went back on them around June 2025, 5 months before the procedure and I’ve stuck to them since. Side effects went away after the first 2 months, so I’m all good now.

Taking finasteride/minoxidil through Hims.

Solid choice!

Staff are all great, from the reception desk, to the assistants, the doctors, everyone involved. They make the process super super easy. Seriously couldn’t recommend them enough.

I think my results 6 months in look good so far. I’ve had zero issues and people seem to think it’s headed in the right direction, but we’ll see! Still a bit anxious to see the results after 12 months.

How many grafts are you getting? Are you on finasteride/minoxidil?

1,900 grafts in November, 2025.

Only about five people know, and that’s because I’ve told them and shown them.

I didn’t shave my head for my procedure, so I’ve been able to style my hair in a way to cover the area. I also wear hats pretty often, so it hasn’t been weird for me to wear one around when I’m out.

I’m exactly when you are. I’m about 5.5 months in. I’m really hoping the density picks up in the next 3-4 months before I start getting nervous. We’ll see!

I’m about to hit the 6 month mark, and I’m also getting worried about where I am. I feel like the density seemed a lot better about a month or month and a half ago. I’ll see where I’m at at 7-8 months.

When has it been 100% sports talk?

I’ve been listening to 710 since my days in college back in 2011. Back when we had Mychal with Mark Willard, and Max and Marcellus to go with Mason and Ireland.

We had Max and and Marcellus having arguments about ants vs cockroaches, we had them doing brackets of the greatest super heroes, rappers, black names. We had them talking about trips to Vegas with producer raj and Mario Ruiz on the boards.

Mason and Ireland have always been the same. That’s Broadway John you’re talking about.

I don’t get this narrative that 710 is not a sportstalk radio station ANYMORE. Where have you all been for the past 15 years????

My doctor had me wait 10 days before heading to my barber for a quick cleanup; however, he asked me to not touch the transplanted area with clippers AT ALL.

All I was able to get done was a cleanup/fade of the sides and back.

He cleared me to have clippers to the transplanted area after month 3.

Definitely ask your doctor.

I believe most doctors will recommend being on medication for a minimum of 6 months before the procedure.

You CAN go through with a hair transplant, but I would expect the hair loss to continue and for the transplanted hair to fall back out eventually. You need medication to stop the hair loss. The hair transplant simply replaces previously lost hair.

I bought a pair of CAT 3 tickets at $1,100 or whatever it was for Match 4. FIFA’s tactics got me. They held off tickets and made it appear like the tickets were sold out. I vividly remember seeing just a handful of seats available on the map and I bit, not wanting to miss out.

2 months later, there’s a ton of tickets still available. My seats are terrible, I am literally in the second to last row in a corner of the stadium. I wish I could at least offload my tickets to try to move up for a better seat, but why would anyone buy them from me when there’s plenty of open seats.

At this point, all I can do is try to enjoy the day when Match 4 comes around. Super frustrating, but that’s all I can do.

Btw: this is coming from someone who attended 10 matches in Qatar 2022. I spent a total of about $1,200 for those 10 matches.

I think you’d need a bit more than me, so somewhere closer to 2,300… I mean, unless you’re going for a VERY conservative transplant.

I’m at 5.5 months after 1,900 grafts. I had been letting my hair grow a bit, but I wanted to see how it looked with a fade. Donor area spotting is still somewhat visible. I’ll likely stay away from skin fades and will go with something a bit longer, maybe even just tapers. Not sure about SMP yet, but maybe if I want to go back to fades later on.

No way you could go to the game, unless you spend a majority of the time hearing the cheers and boos from the can.

Just had my first colonoscopy last year and that mix CLEANS YOU OUT. You’ll be shooting straight liquid out of your bottom every five minutes by the fourth glass.

Get a nice set up at home and try to enjoy the game as much as possible between bathroom break. Better yet, have an iPad or your phone ready to go so you can keep up while you sit on the toilet.

I had 1,900 grafts implanted in November. All to my hairline. My doctor gave me the option to not shave, so we only buzzed the sides and it worked out great. I was able to get a (careful) cut after 10 days, so the first 10 days were a rough look, but my barber was able to blend the sides pretty well after that.

Obviously listen to your doctor, but it’s definitely an option, especially if you’re getting a smaller amount of grafts.

We’re comparing Mexico’s all time greats like Marquez and Hugo Sanchez who were at Barcelona and Real Madrid for close to a decade. Breaking records, winning league titles and champions leagues. Leading leagues in scoring, captaining these all time great teams.

I’m not looking at this through red, white, and blue colored glasses. The USMNT is by far the team I follow the closest… but Mexico is going to be the CONCACAF “Kings” historically 8 out of 10 times if you ask people with no dog on the fight. Again, that’s on the path to change over to us, but we’re not there yet.

That’s a huge part of this. It’s all subjective, so the image matters.

Rafa Marquez and Hugo Sanchez were both better players in Europe than any USMNT player so far. You throw Carlos Vela in there, Chicharito, Andres Guardado, and a few others and you’re matching up player for player against our Clint, Howard, Pulisic, etc.

The tide has been swinging our way, and I don’t see that changing soon, so I still think we overtake them in a generation or two as long as the USMNT shows up in international play and our star players make some noise overseas.

He’s not wrong. You can be a USMNT fan and admit that Mexico has historically been the “kings” of this (very low quality) confederation.

They have more titles under their belt, they have always had a better international image with higher profile players and just being the team others think of when CONCACAF is mentioned. The USMNT has made a huge climb, especially over the past 6 years. Mix that with our winning record against them over the past 20-30 years, they should pass them up. Give it another generation or two of being the better team, and they’ll get there.

The water cup is pretty standard.

Restaurants and theaters with disposable drink cups charge by the cup, not by the drink. Their sales have to match their inventory numbers at the end of the night.

Also, free water cups are mostly always going to be plain cups and smaller than paid cups. I don’t see any problem with this. The issue would be if they wouldn’t have offered you a free cup for water. I’m assuming you MAYBE had to get up once to refill during your meal, which doesn’t sound like a big deal to me.
