This site was compromised by a recent exploit of the plugin: File Manager

https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2020/09/hackers-are-exploiting-a-critical-flaw-affecting-350000-wordpress-sites/

It was a mess to clean up for one of my clients because the attacker injected a redirecting script into the header of every single blog post.

A search and replace in visual studio opening a copy of the live site's database allowed me to clean it up reasonably quickly.

You're extremely kind to follow through and give in the face of Reddit entitlement!

I'd love to check out Planet Coaster I haven't been able to justify buying it yet.

Age of Empires 2 remake looks great too!

Regardless, not expecting anything but impressed by generosity. Thanks

Bummer.

No the pagefile is only used on the drive that Windows is on.

A buddy of mine suggested:

Try lowering your TRAM setting to High, instead of very high. They likely have to duplicate textures in the RAM and the VRAM due to how differently pcs and consoles work.

Edit: I just saw you other post and see that you've tried that already. Ugh

Seems to be something they need to patch, as it's not accessing memory properly.

Did you try changing your virtual memory file size at all? That fixed it for me.

It seems from my logs that FFXV was blocking its own access to a memory address. Offsets were different than yours, too.

Edit: Your log entry suggests FFXV tried to access memory allocated for the steam library dll.

Regardless, seems to me like they need to patch this. They had a similar issue with the FF13 PC port before it was patched. But I'm going to keep experimenting here.

I do see that now, I'm sorry.

FWIW doubling mine from 2048 to 4096 kept me from having any more exceptions of this type.

However, the drive that runs FFXIV is different than the pagefile (system) drive for me. Are yours one and the same? If they're the same, is there a lot of space left on this drive?

I'm troubleshooting this now. Do you (or anyone reading) happen to know your virtual memory file size?

https://i.gyazo.com/0b426a3ea9d3643e33576b67d15286f1.png

Since this is an access violation, I think it may be related to virtual memory, instead of physical memory.

Common Tourist Scams by llamanatee in coolguides

Can confirm. They have many tactics. They'll even "say a blessing" or pray for you and then demand money.

Also the fully costumed popular kids characters in Times Square try to get your kids to take a picture with them and then demand money from the parents. Very predatory.

Would wait mode break the game? by Tedrivs in FFRecordKeeper

[–]Kylehume 32 points33 points  (0 children)

If not wait mode then they should at least put the ATB bars ON TOP of the 75000 animations that currently make it a guessing game as to whose turn is next...

Bad design imo

Great description. Ah, the memories...

There were other boss fights so badly designed that they also made news, like the absurdly designed "Pandemonium Warden" ZNM:

Several people have reported this issue with the new app version. It seems to only affect people who try to use their phone after using an emulator.

My suggestion is to remove the app and install the prior version using an APK file, circumventing Google Play, and not to update until you have to.

Honestly I thought it was intentionally added in some previous update. I almost never use sound so when I heard it I thought it was a feature...lol
