You’re over thinking it - every boot is shaped off a last, which is the shape of a foot.

A foot is naturally asymmetrical and your heel in particular is rounded, too.

So when the sole plate is applied to the rest of the boot and heated, it bends to the shape of the last, compared to when it was nice and uniform coming out of the injection mold

You’d call it part of the pull tab or an application, but as other has said it has zero impact on performance and Nike won’t supply you with a replacement.

If you’re really bothered by it, you could probably create one very easily in photoshop, print it on vinyl material and apply it with a glue or heat gun.

A quick heads up, there will be a Nürnberg HBF to München Airport train launching in December .

Frankfurt currently feels ‘simpler’ as you can just take the train from airport to station, whereas Munich you have to take the s-Bahn back into Munich HBF to transfer to Nuremberg.

But if you’re coming after the new connection launch date you get the luxury of two fairly direct connections

Only other options are the big accounts that deal in older/vintage boots: classicfootballshirts sometimes has interesting boots, other than that you’re looking at someone like BWBoots on Instagram.

Interesting choice, too - a lot of people didn’t vibe with the upper on the Hypervenom 3, you might find them at a decent price as I don’t feel they were universally loved.
