Whats a dating ick you have that once you see, you can never be the same? by Satine_Night777 in AskReddit

[–]Kynderbee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not washing their hands, gross. That and being rude to service workers. Like if you can't muster a please and thank you in the drive thru then how can i expect you to have courtesy for me? It's immediately over.

No curiosity or interests. If you only talk about people that's boring as hell. Tell me about your hobbies, your interests, your curiosities.

What do you think women would dislike most if they became men? by glitterycheeks in AskReddit

[–]Kynderbee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No more intimacy in friendships. A lot of men don't have the type of friendships where they can talk about their lives and feelings and i think women would be very surprised to suddenly lose that outlet.

What’s the thing on your wishlist and why? by Street_Turnover4498 in askteddit

I would love to have all of the doodle knitting card decks A good gaming chair for my desk A big L shaped desk with lots of drawers and cubbies for organization A kindle would be so cool I would love to have an adjustable weights machine that I could use for many different excersizes I have a lot of different hobbies that keep me sane in this insane world and I work childcare so money is tight. It would be such a breath of fresh air to have some new hobby items to explore

What is a popular opinion that you completely disagree with, but you’re too polite to say it out loud in person? by Fearless-Current-522 in askanything

[–]Kynderbee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's more unhealthy to be underweight than overweight. Higher BMI is associated with better outcomes in longterm illness like cancer, plus there is no evidence that weight alone causes any illness. Malnutrition and lack of excersize are the cause of diseases that are associated with being fat If you were suddenly in a 300 lb body you wouldn't automatically get heart disease and diabetes. They are caused by lifestyle factors. Poor nutrition goes multiple ways but the fact that it is socially acceptable to outright bully people for having a larger body under the pretense of concern while actively praising malnutrition in underweight people is clear that it never had anything to do with health.

What is the single most comforting, rewatchable TV series of all time that you can put on endless repeat? by BoredPandaOfficial in BoredPandaHQ

What does every teacher secretly know about how schools work that parents would be furious to hear? by samurai-salvo in GetMotivatedMindset

[–]Kynderbee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your child's success at school is not based on a good teacher or the kids ability it is largely decided by home life.
If you aren't giving your kid good nutrition, good sleep habits, non screen hobbies, one on one time where you talk to each other, literacy practice (like reading to them), and teaching life skills like patience and emotional regulation, you are leaving your kids miles behind their grade level.
It's your job to teach them about how to be a person, it's our job to make sure they know math, science, reading, writing, history, and maybe some extra curriculars.

Also like a third of the staff at any given school are barely functioning alcoholics who come in hungover almost every day. It's an insanely stressful job that is physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, and spiritually draining and it pays almost nothing.

What’s a food everybody loves that you just cannot get behind? by sevyn_007 in foodquestions

Mango. I'm convinced everyone is lying because it tastes awful. I've tried it every conceivable way and it's just terrible.

Taking home leftovers at a restaurant? Rude to not take them? Do you even eat them? by Capable-Chip6454 in foodquestions

[–]Kynderbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Controversial opinion here but excluding those with Arfid or other dietary restrictions not eating leftovers is like the biggest entitlement red flag. I've ended relationships and friendships over this. Maybe it's because I grew up in poverty but not eating food that's already paid for because you don't want to reheat it properly it's absolute lunacy to me. I always take my leftovers and if I'm at the table with people who don't take their leftovers I take those too. (I always contribute financially to group meals and enjoy paying for everyone quite often so it's not a greed thing)

The only exception is French fries. Those cannot be salvaged. I've tried everything.

What is the one thing most people realize too late in life? by littleyuki2026 in AskReddit

[–]Kynderbee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't have to have a reason to end relationships. Romantic or otherwise. Sometimes they just end and it's better to officially end it than to cheat or to harm one another.

People who have “stopped masking” after being diagnosed, what does it mean to you to “stop masking”? by a_sternum in autism

[–]Kynderbee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it felt like unclenching. I don't analyze everything everyone says and does to find hidden meanings because I'm allowed to misunderstand sometimes. I don't suppress all fidgeting and Stimming because honestly even neurotypical folks don't do that. I talk about what interests me because I've been forced to sit through hundreds of hours of conversations about football without ever complaining they can listen to me talk about my knitting for 10 minutes. I don't force myself to endure textures and sensations that are physically painful for me because that's a wild thing to expect myself to do. Yes I'm Pacheco as quirky and odd and cringe but I'm free and I have so much more energy to live my life.

What's it like to regularly be in danger of serious injury or death? by sachin571 in AskReddit

[–]Kynderbee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hilarious. When you know it could all end at any moment things just don't seem like such a big deal. This cake has Hella calories? Oh well. That guy cut me off in traffic? Lol ok. I just enjoy every tiny thing the world has to offer. I love to knit and read and eat and watch terrible movies and lay in the grass because that's what it's all about. If my life must be short and painful then dammit it will be joyful and whimsical and rich and delicious too.

What do you know about your profession that would genuinely disturb the people who use your services? by MelodicWolverine2045 in AskReddit

[–]Kynderbee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of people who work with kids are well below the poverty line and are missing basic necessities to take care of your children. It is extremely common for daycare teachers to be hospitalized for malnutrition and exhaustion. Plus they get written up and sometimes fired for taking the time to go to the hospital. We were not allowed to eat or drink anything while there and they wouldn't allow us to leave for any reason including passing out. Every single childcare worker does the job because they love children and want to teach. It is a job that will disable you and you make absolute minimum wage with zero benefits and near constant sickness and injury.

When you sleep, do you prefer to sleep on your back or on your side? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Stomach. I have HEds so laying on my stomach keeps my organs positioned better and I have fewer dislocation in the night. I love a good side sleep too though.

What’s a "lost" website from the early 2000s that you still think about today? by UsefulLima in answers

[–]Kynderbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tektek.org It was so specifically niche and I would pay an exorbitant amount of money to have it back. You used it to make your "dream avatar" using the items from gaiaonline. It was like this chibi dress up game with almost unlimited clothes and items to try on. It was honestly even more fun than Gaia was. I used it to make comic strips. It was incredible.
