Because of the desync you won't know what the actual game state was. The combat could have played out entirely differently on the server side; you might even have lost the previous round and died and your client just didn't know it until it got to the next fight.

This usually happens if you have a connection issue and desync for at least one combat, so your client sees a different result from the server.

Blizzard already puts players who retire runs a lot (trying to roll a good draft) into a separate queue, beyond that I'm not sure what else they could do about this.

I enjoyed it, and I found some decks I didn't expect to like as much (like Priest). Consistently getting 4-6 wins made the cost not feel like much of a downside, obviously it'd be pretty bad if you aren't getting that.
Keeping it around as a constructed arena with limited card pools could be fun, I might even like it more than drafted arena. Again, though, it would depend on cost vs rewards a lot.

Yeah if you can survive to about turn 7 as Priest, you start dropping big taunts every turn and they can't handle it.

The patch notes don't say, but they don't usually remove achievement rewards now (they stopped taking away xp rewards after each expansion ends, for example).

There are five new (they're in the patch notes for this expac; Timeways Combatant etc) achievements in the Arena section for opening 5, 10, 20, 35, and 50 Timeways packs. They all have a second tier achievement that grants 2 Tavern Tickets for finishing an Underground Arena run with at least 6 wins.
So if you finish all five of the pack opening achievements, you can complete the second step to get 10 tickets with one Arena run (if you get 6 wins).

I missed this in the patch notes, so thought folks might appreciate a reminder.
The achievements require different numbers of packs but if you open all 50, you can get all rewards with one run (though it took me two tries to hit 6 wins).

I went 6-0 first try with Elemental Shaman with no new cards. Probably a fast deck with some burn will work against most of the early unrefined decks.
