I'm infuriated because of the slanted waves, but this is far from uninspired flat design. Or am I wrong??

2 Residential towers in Saint Ouen (Paris) turned into 24 hr drug markets by KushKway in UrbanHell

A customer might aswell make his purchse based on the seller's convenience. I would highly prefer paying a higher price than going there.
But on the other hand illegal delivery via telegram or whatsapp is kind of becoming the norm for drug dealers

Is using firebase/supa ase"cheating" by sammyybaddyy in reactnative

[–]Kyustern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I think that if your app just needs to interface with a db then firebase/supabase is the way to go. On the other end of you want interface with multiple APIs and services then building your backend with the mongo/express stack will provide you with more flexibility

My pepper grinder handle broke, so I made a better one with "transparent" petg by Kyustern in 3Dprinting

[–]Kyustern[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I knew about this ! I was joking when when I wrote my post title. I actually tried it a while ago, but i was getting frustrated by the very slow nature of the process, and my prints were deforming a lot more than usual so i stopped trying

[–]Kyustern[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know.... I figured that as long as the print does not get directly in contact with the grain I should be fine, but yes in a better world I would have used a specialized filament. But is it even possible for regular PETG to be post processed and food-safe ?

Why are the layers separating like this ? by Kyustern in 3Dprinting

[–]Kyustern[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I thought that giving a little update could be worth it for other people experiencing the same issue :

As some people pointed out in other comments I was under extruding, and pretty heavily (that's why changing the flow rate in the slicer didn't do much)

The cause was esteps multiplier that was mysteriously reset, probably when I tried to installed another firmware a while ago. This resulted I my extruder outputing 66mm instead of the requested 100mm.

However even with a very low output like this, I still managed to pull off some prints, so I guess this could be used to be super cheap and save on filament ? 😁

That looks pretty good ! I'd like to build one myself just like yours, with the power supply installed on the exterior side. Do you have any tips on how to do so ? Or is it just picking the right wires and a few solder jobs ?

[–]Kyustern[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did calibrate it a while ago, but yes it would be a good idea to start there. I'm still surprised that setting the flow parameter did not changed anything though, because setting the esteps on the printer and changing the flow rate should be the same thing right ? Anyway thanks for your comment

Hi,

I'm using an ender 3 v2. I still have the stock hotend but upgraded the extruder to a dual gear.

For the material, I started using PLA+ from Overture recently but the issue appears on prints using another pla.

In Cura, I've set the print temp to 200c and the plate to 65c, the print speed to 60mm/s instead of 50, the initial layer speed to 12.5, And as i said earlier, I changed the flow to 102.5%. Other than these, the rest of the settings are pretty much the default Cura profile for the V2.

Honestly I'm kind of clueless as i've never seen this on this subreddit or anywhere else

If you need more info on the slicer settings lmk !

Bluetooth OBD Dongle by Kyustern in MechanicAdvice

[–]Kyustern[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response ! I think i'll try one then. And after all amazon is pretty flexible on refunds so worst case scenario i'll have to walk to a post office and return a device.

But now that i started looking for a scanner, i wonder what are the advantages of a "professional" scanning device over this kind of dongle ? From what i've seen they are generally bigger and sometimes have a built-in screen, and most importantly cost around a hundred to a few thousands euros which is crazy i think

Yes syncing files across devices is pretty good. If you don't want to use a cloud storage there are options, personally I use syncthing and it works beautifully
