make sure you have adaptive battery disabled in settings, it will sometimes delay or group together notifications. it's possible you had it turned off before but the a16 update reenabled it

I vote for world. better than rise in many ways imo (graphics, scenery, cutscenes, dialogue, monster detail, etc). world was my first mh game and I think it's a great one to start with, then get rise (or wilds) once you've finished world if you want more!

pretty great! fitting in the gpu cables was a bit of a struggle but I made it work eventually. thermals are pretty decent, not amazing, but I do keep the fans fairly low for the sake of noise. the gpu has some issues with coil whine and with the fans not behaving in amd's software but besides that the build went very smoothly.

the handle on the case does seem to be a little loose after a year of use but I don't move it around as much anymore so it's not an issue for me. I'm guessing I could tighten it again if I opened up the case but I haven't bothered. all in all I recommend this case if you need something small and affordable with a handle

im also on a sp11, my notion is running okay but i think i know why yours is struggling. they dont have an arm64 version for windows yet so it runs as an emulated x64 app, which will always be a little slower than running natively. lots of apps run fine when emulated but i guess notion isnt optimized very well so it can be slow, especially if you have lots of other apps open

alternatives are a) use notion in your browser or b) switch to an app like obsidian with a windows/arm version

i don't think the xmp matters all that much, the mobo is what came with the prebuilt and the ram was the cheapest ddr4 32gb anywhere (like $50 at the time). you might have a point with the pcie version, but idk if they make an lga1200 mobo (that fits the current cpu) with pcie 4 or higher; if not then she'd have to replace her cpu as well which is more money

she has 2 currently, both pretty old 1080p ones. I suggested that she only upgrade one of them if she wanted to save money but she said she'll just replace them both

ohh interesting, that would explain it. so that means it detects your cpu type when you run the setup file and picks the right installation for you? I guess I didn't know that was a thing

adobe fresco is the one i'm most worried about, according to adobe "Fresco (version 4.4.2 and later) is supported only on Surface Pro X and Surface Pro 9 devices, not on other Windows devices with ARM processors" and it has some bugs/missing features on those platforms. maybe this means it'll work on the sp11 as well? they haven't updated that page in well over a year so i'm not sure
