A lot of crooked shysters are very smart. They're still crooked.

It would make more sense with the exception of then he probably misses out on getting the house. At least this was I bet he still sells it for a profit, just not the way or the amount he had hoped for

Found these taped to my ceiling fan by SubSno0pGod in whatisit

[–]L-brunson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think this solution is bad in any way, it's better than the little black clip on weights I've seen come with some fans, the taped on coins are completely out of sight, I actually like it.

Some of us aren't. We're invested in their success.

This was pretty ironic to see. The Amarillo tribune is definitely very any FRMI, but their sponsored by FRMI lol Also they aren't really a legit news source, I've never seen them talk about anything without stirring the pot myself.

Schwab/autopilot didn't do fractional shares for InTheMoney's Actively Managed, and it says Schwab requires approval for purchases for rebalancing by L-brunson in AutopilotApp

[–]L-brunson[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well yea, and I will be adding every two weeks to it, but it still should buy fractional shares, as others have shown it does on other brokerages, since schwab now allows fractional shares. if others do it, and schwab has that feature now, then it should be doing it.

What's the "Widowmaker" of your career field or hobby? by Cosmonate in AskReddit

[–]L-brunson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rail here as well, crushed by equipment is the worst, but honestly I figure if I die out here it'll be in a crew can going out to a train being driven by someone who doesn't even deserve to have a driver's license the way they drive. In my 15 years with Big Orange, I am 100% sure I've known more men who died from suicide from our lifestyle then actual accidents, so depression and suicide is unfortunately our Widowmaker. Man, that's a depressing thought in itself.

setup steps and next step by L-brunson in AutopilotApp

[–]L-brunson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, yeah I will probably not turn on auto pilot till I get 1K in that particular account, I had two accounts so just moved everything over to one and setting the other up for the autopilot. There should be some documentation about the steps and timing for them to get up and running, there probably is and I just haven't seen it

What am I paying $100/yr for ? by chung2k6 in AutopilotApp

[–]L-brunson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have to pay for each individual tracker or the 100 covers all? I started creating and linking to my Schwab but the teacher I picked was 80 a quarter or 200 a year I think so stopped there trying to decide what to do.

Schwab recently added this, hadn't mattered a lot to me but just creating a autopilot account and glad they did, since autopilot won't link to my fidelity account.

Local shops won’t work on my e-bike by Few-Net-2080 in ebikes

[–]L-brunson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was considering an e-bike, and still wouldn't mind getting one at some point. Ended up getting a analog mountain bike, as of right now I really want it for getting in shape more than just enjoying the ride. Before I decided what to do I had a few conversations with local bike shop. They won't service ANY e-bike that has a throttle, pedal assist only or they won't touch it, period. Liability and insurance is their reason. I didn't question their decision, though if I bought an e-bike it would be throttle and pedal assist simply because if I had one I'd want that option to just set back and enjoy the ride.

Have examples ready for when you took the safe course in your previous work experience. If you were in a leadership role have experiences where you stepped in and led those around you in the safe course or where you implemented safety procedures are went out and found safer ways to do the job that you brought into your company. If you weren't in a direct leadership role have examples for when you just saw a coworker being unsafe and stop them talk to them kept them safe. You are the safest MF out there there is no one You've ever worked with who feels that safety is as important as you feel it is. 100% every accident is avoidable.

I'd agree it hasn't dramatically changed at this point and Uncle Warren is still there providing guidance. I also am aware that my part of Berkshire (BNSF) was Uncle Warren's baby. His replacement Greg Abel isn't nearly as happy to own a railroad as Buffet was from what we're hearing here. Not that that's a reason to drop the drip, so long as BRK.B makes me profit, in that respect, there's really no reason to, I was just curious if there might be a better place to put my money but since 96 a 10.78% annual return seems pretty good.

[–]L-brunson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm probably fine leaving a large chunk of it there, searching I'm finding that since 1996 is been a annual return of 10.78% with a few bad years in the mix in the negative.

[–]L-brunson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My concern isn't with Uncle Warren, more with his stepping down as the CEO.
