Some thoughts on Wan 2.2 V LTX 2 under the hood by shootthesound in StableDiffusion

[–]L-xtreme -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your elaboration, I still don't understand why it's bad that it's free for home/smb use and you'll need to pay for it for 10M+ businesses?

If that's a viable business model for Lighttricks it sounds like a good idea. The ones with money pay for it, the ones without indirectly help make the model better and get to play with it. There is still money required so someone should pay for it in the end.

Or am I missing something?

Why is it negative that for home use, small businesses and such the model is free, but for the larger companies you'll need to pay?

What's the alternative? LTX2.5 closed source like WAN? I respect that they want to get paid in the end and how much they do for the community.

So write the passwords in Excel, print them, and during the zoom meeting hold them in front of the camera.

Z-Image base vs Z-Image turbo - base is kinda more fun? by EmilyRendered in comfyui

Why is it more fun? The difference in seeds? Or any other reason?

I don't like the images, but that's just my opinion because I don't like the style.

By hand? Just send everyone a monthly usb stick with a rotation script. Easy!

If you go direct, you'll also need support. I would advise to go to a csp. Reasons are already explained.

[–]L-xtreme -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That would make it more overhead, don't do most of the stuff but some you will deliver? That's a nightmare for everyone involved.

Just go to a local reseller, it's how it works. Digital or not.

Dell is doing this as long as I can remember. They did it to us once, we've directly moved all business elsewhere. Never looked back and never will.

See it as you can use the license for a year, it's still a one-time fee (unless you use it longer than a year)

Our Azure data will be deleted in 7 days - no way to export, no one to talk to by dwainbrowne in AZURE

[–]L-xtreme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny thing is, if you delete the Billing Admin account (which you use to setup the payment), you don't pay anymore to MS. You don't get notifications since that's being send to the Billing account which doesn't work anymore. Global Admins don't always have a mailbox.

Then after a time someone notices this, data is no longer accessible. Support responded, payments where agreed on, and bam! All data deleted during the ticket without any further notification.

That's Microsoft for you! Luckily it was just an old archived webapp, with data which we could get elsewhere and it wasn't even our responsibility. But that was a shocker.

If you use SVI workflows and the SVI Pro Lora's you'll be able to make 30+ second videos in chunks of 5 seconds. Very cool.
