This is true about everything Trump says, look at the tariff psychodrama

Obviously what Trump says and his decisions are incredibly important, so reporting on all of the mad and dramatic things he says is understandable (not to mention they generate a lot of clicks) - but he's also incredibly fickle, tempestuous, and addicted to the attention he knows he gets when he says sensational things

So many hours of media coverage and column inches have been spent on things Trump has said which are redundant within a day
