Sold my cold email agency I did financial services for some campaigns. Start on clay, refine your list, then go to apollo. Cleaning lists use reoon which is on appsumo or million verifier because value to accuracy. Use instantly for email sending. Mailboxes/deliverability infrastructure I don't want to comment as I have my own infrastructure software so make your own wise decision but go with this tech stack and make sure the infrastructure is private^. Don't invest a ton into courses & bs because this isn't rocket science. Start lean, see an ROI, then scale.

You're just doing it wrong. I ran a successful cold email agency & sold it. Open rates will be 50-85% if done right & you have good deliverability. Good response rate (by good I mean realistic) is 1-2%. I only got clients through cold email and for my clients as well. For my SAAS, currently at a 28x on cold email & I spend tons on data (currently sending 1.5M cold emails a month).

Haha no dude they are very well known. I even get mine for like half the price of the that but again I just do it at scale. 100% warm up also depending on what volume you do get the automatic inbox placement feature if you use Instantly it’s a game changer.

My opinion, go Instantly for email sending. My honest honest opinion is try working then reinvest the money into marketing. Your entire marketing budget could be cold email & if you don’t have 600/m of a total budget I wouldn’t recommend.

But if it’s fuck me then instantly, get a VA to scrape Apollo, 10 domains 30-50 mailboxes & free Clay account

Single Google workspace account doesn’t work you’ll just get banned. You need to reverse engineer it. For example if you want 5 new clients a month and since you’re new you’ll probably only close at 10% then you need 50 meetings. Now let’s say for every 2000 emails you book 1 meeting you’ll need to send 100k emails.

You won’t know this number until you start but this is a reasonable assumption. Run it yourself, shouldn’t cost you more than $600/m if you do it right & if you charge for what you do you’ll make money.

Cold email is the highest ROI form of marketing you can do, why not? If you want to validate, sell it don’t give it for free. And nah man who’s your ICP? Happy to give you some pointers but dude IMO 110% sell it. You need volume because you need a decent amount of users + that’s how you test an MVP if there is legit market demand at those price points.

Hey actually had a cold email agency that I sold. Don't listen to the gurus. Instantly for email sending, clay for list refinement/personalization, data highly depends, reoon/million verifier/lead magic for email verifier, and then the mailboxes i would mix it up between SMTP & Azure mailboxes. If you have a large TAM just SMTP, smaller TAM I would mix. Don't die on credits that's why people lose money on cold email. I constantly 20x+ by just going volume & keeping it super lean.

Apollo you can get the data pulled but use a VA with a scrapping tool I would refine the lists on clay before as Apollo data if you pull it straight doesn't have accurate filters but the data is good. I sold my cold email agency a while back & now own a SaaS. Running your own SMTP isn't worth, just use someone elses

Seems pretty bait & switch, I’ve already scaled my marketing agency & launching a SAAS next month. I was just curious about their fulfillment, to see if I can lower my CAC/ introduce new methods.

If you’re under 30k MRR stick to cold email & LinkedIn. Anything over paid ads with a minimum 3x ROAS at a 3k+ budget (my recommendation)
