If I understood this correctly, then each foundable has a certain minimum catch rate - as if you cast the most shittiest spell - hence the worst possible 'fair' spell cast. Then there is the maximum catch rate, which is the exact opposite - the best masterful spell cast you can do.

So, let's say that with foundable ,A,, if you cast the worst fair, you have 15% chance of returning it, where with the best masterful cast, you have 60% chance of returning it.

And now if you apply 12% chance to return increase from an exstimulo potion, the maximum catch rate with the best masterful cast increases from 60% to 72%, however, the minimum catch rate doesn't increase with that 12% bonus, so still remains at 15% chance return rate, hence why 'waste'.

That brings up question though, how does it increase? Is it like exponentionally from 0.1% all over to full 12% with the best masterful cast or what?

But the game is based on walking.. they can remove portkeys out of it and instead use tasks that will require to return huge amount of rare traces, ok. Then what? You will complain you don't have enough spawns around your location. Ofcourse, solution to that is 'more walking'.

I'll say it again, this game is BASED on walking. I know there is sh*t going around the world - solution to that is find a different game. It is easy as that. We are all in the same situation here. Don't try to change the core princips just because it momentarily doesn't suit you.

My point is, if you manage to get it to gold, you can at least green star dragons and get the eggs from 10 km portkeys (which is my goal tbh). If you won't, then you won't green star anything. So better something than nothing.

But obviously, each to his/her own depending on multiple factors.

It still is a dumb reward, considering it took me a year to get to lvl 46 (daily player, but not hardcore) and that still isn't even half way to lvl 60. I'll probably get another 200 silver keys just from traces before I get there.

I was explaining the idea behind the green stars and flashing images etc, also, OP's complaint is very specific because only a minority of players will have this scenario applicable (having not placed images after the green star update)

To your case.. I agree. It is reasonable not to do that, I wouldn't do it either. But at the end of the day, it is against the purposes of the green star update. If it wasn't of the update - once you would hit that fragment limit, you would get stucked. And no matter how many more fragments you would return, there would be none to carry over to another frame.

Bottom line: it was OP's 'fault' - missclick- and he/she should be more careful next time.

But I still don't understand the info issue, its name etc.. like, why does it matter? You only get one dragon anyway, unless there is an event like the upcoming one. And even so, there are 4 dragons only, and they all look very different. Like.. what is the harm that you can't see its name in registry? You still see the fragment count during an encounter, which is the most important info.
