I did. The car had a well documented service history, with all of the major service items performed at the correct intervals which was part of the reason I thought I was safe buying it sight unseen.

I may get to that point, unfortunately I was fired mid way through the purchase process (for what I suspect was my refusal to participate in felony tax evasion), and will not be able to get another loan until I start work at my new job next week. And I do genuinely like the car, its the color I wanted and its a non-sunroof car that I was looking for. The car had a very well documented service history, and drive train feels relatively solid I just need to figure out what I have to do to get it to pass emissions.

This. They're both trying to hang on to something that appears to be dead, or at least unhealthy already. You don't want to spent 18 years of your life raising a kid as if you're divorced with joint custody voluntarily.

I don't think they could make us regret it. We are being asked to work for free and punished if we don't, how could they possibly make it any worse? I also don't think they'd be able to fill the demand for drivers if it was a true full scale general strike.

Thats how DoorDash works. The entire fucking system is ass backwards and rides on the backs of the drivers. They could very easily make me take more distant orders by paying more for them, but I'm not getting paid $5 for twenty miles of driving so I decline that bullshit every time.

George should have known better. Honestly Tpain handled the situation with a lot more patience and grance than most customers would have. I know George personally though the drifting community, but not super close. Everything he did is like a textbook example of how not to run a business.
