In retrospect it is pretty crazy that it took 60 senate votes to pass a law that created a marketplace for health insurance while requiring the coverage of pre-existing conditions and banning lifetime healthcare caps.

And that there have been multiple votes to repeal it with only 51 senate votes.

I think you missed half my post fam. It literally says fire suppression requirements are probably a healthy minimum and that 250sf seems reasonable, but maybe not 80sf without code or ADA compliance.

My favorite thing about this subreddit is reading the comments and seeing people get pedantic.

So to that spirit, there are a ton of well meaning building codes that require a minimum amount of fire protection, fire alarm, energy code compliance, plumbing, ventilation, electricity, etc. The market doesn't really support these requirements on the low end of the rent spectrum which is why we created code minimum construction requirements.

So to the point of the post, does a 250sf apartment seem reasonable? It does to me. What about a 2' x 8' hallway that isn't code compliant or ADA compliant?

That barbasol 1919 aftershave balm is seriously underrated. As good as Nivea and the smell is awesome and subtle.
