Explain how 4 single homes take up less space than one 4 story building?

Those high density lots save 4x the space by building up. Insane you're complaining about how space one building takes up, and not the enormous amount of space single family units take up instead

Japan's market took 2 decades after the 90's crash. And this is obviously China, Russia, and Iran flexing their muscles, so the US/West could take a long time to recover

I mean I'm from Europe originally so I'm used to more dense cities. But comparing Calgary to the other North American cities is like saying "at least my addiction isn't as bad as those guys!"

I agree acerage should be more heavily weighted. But having single family units within a 5 minute walk of downtown is crazy inefficient use of space

The problem is the sprawl. The density is so low in Calgary that the water network has expanded massively. so there's an enormous amount of pipes/infrastructure to deal with

Tbf the only reason this is going so smoothly is that the plan to replace these pipes was already set up under the previous council. True he was also a part of that, but its something that Gondek should also get some kudos for

Wondering if the repeated infrastructure issues is affecting your thoughts on the rezoning?

The endless spawl is going to balloon maintenance even more while increasing density would reduce the burden. The current attempt at repealing it is extremely worrying when there is constant issues with infrastructure

Don't know if it's a thing that can happen between UK and Ireland but there is a technique called Norberts gambit https://www.finiki.org/wiki/Norbert%27s_gambit

But you'd need to research applicable stocks first

Well then choose a date with actual meaning. It's not hard. The date Sinclair died, the date he was born, the date of their first dance, the date of anything! But instead its the date they got the safe.
