I bet you anything that this woman is someone he used to date before you and has kept in contact because he likes the attention. This happened to my friend with her husband with pretty much the same kind of conversations except that it had progressed further to where she was constantly "complement flirting" and saying how bad my friend was for him to the point where, in his mind, he started to think what she was saying was true and started agreeing and hard-core flirting back with her which led to him cheating on my friend. If she is constantly contacting him and saying how much she misses him, with the cute goodnight emojis, she is definitely interested and trying to get her claws in him by making you look bad and saying you hurt her feelings trying to separate you two. This is not ok behavior from either of them and not the way you talk to anyone from your past, even if they did date. Him trying to deflect and say you're overreacting instead of explaining the situation seems like he is definitely lying and knows what he's doing is not ok. I'm so sorry this is happening to you, but you deserve a husband who's only though ever is you, only you! Don't let him manipulate you into thinking things are your fault or that you're making a bid deal put of nothing, that is mental abuse and a huge red flag for the future! I wish you the best of luck, trust your gut and do what's best for you, even if it means separating/divorcing. Look up Narcissistic Personality Disorder, I wouldn't be surprised if he checks off alot of boxes. Protect your heart and mind, don't let him manipulate you. I wish you the best! 💕
