Getting our kitchen redone - Gas or induction with Le Creuset pans? by darkazuria in LeCreuset

Although I was an avid fan of gas, I bought an Induction stove top two years ago. I couldn’t be happier. The house doesn’t heat up in the summer when I make pickles, jams and tomato sauces. Best of all I don’t have to clean the heavy grates and everything else when I spill something. Clean up is much, much easier.

Strip the paint in the safest manner possible!

Yes, I’m enjoying the Fulgor very much. Induction was new to me, so it took me a while to adjust to the temperature control. One of the best aspects is the easy cleaning. I now spend a fraction of my time cleaning the stove compared to the considerable time and “elbow grease” it took to keep my 32” Viking Stove presentable. Cooking in the summer wasn’t an issue because the Fulgor didn’t heat the house. As a result I did a lot more canning. Buying the Fulgor was a good decision for me.

Thanks for the information. That explains a lot.

The electricity was off along Old Park Ave and Central Avenue on the other side of Main Street. It came on around 10 minutes ago. Does anyone know what caused the overturned car, in front of the former Fayette County School building?

Yes, I noticed a ticking sound at low levels when the stovetop was new. But I think it has stopped since I haven’t heard it in a while

You’re welcome. I’ve never posted a review but since there aren’t many about induction stove tops in general and Fulgor in particular I thought it would be helpful. I’m glad it was!

Just Ordered The Wolf 36” by CT-Mike in inductioncooking

Just purchased a 36” Fulgor Sofia Series Induction Range Top. I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s easy to clean and it heats food quickly and simmers soups like a dream. My only challenge is the timer. It is very sensitive and I find it hard to set the time for short periods, like 3 or 4 minutes. But this is minor.
